My favorites so far are the Tika Misala and Mango Curry with chicken. The salad is fresh and simple, the rice is excellent with a little extra added to it and their Garlic Naan is always perfect!
I rarely give out poor reviews, but the food was very disappointing. When trying an Indian restaurant for the first time, I always get the Channa Masala and Saag Paneer. This experience was really underwhelming. The flavors weren't developed, and I never got a burst of flavor from any of the bites. Then only thing I enjoyed was the strawberry lassi. Surprisingly, I didn't even enjoy the naan. I don't even want to finish the portions I dished up. I really wish I could have rated them well. I genuinely hope I got them on a bad day and this was a fluke.

I would have liked to order from here, but the person that answered the phone didn’t seem to understand English. When I asked him if I could find out if a couple of menu items were gluten free, he just kept saying, “I don’t know what you’re saying” and then started to read me the menu. It’s 2022. People who work in food service should know about allergens, and adding that information to a menu is pretty standard these days.
First time trying Indian food and OMG... delicious!! Their coconut curry chicken, yum! Their lentil soup, yum!! The naan bread... delicious. We'll be back!

Super Excellent Food!! Highly recommend. I got the vindaloo and it was super flavorful, it came with rice and a fresh salad. Also got their spinach and cheese filled naan which was excellent. If you haven't checked out this spot or Freighthouse Square yet now is the time!
Fantastic “hole in the wall” . Got the basic sag paneer & the chicken tikka masala & 2 garlic naans . Friendly service, fast and delicious. Easily got two meals out each dish. Not a lot of Indian food in Tacoma so will definitely be back!
The Tikka Masala is superb, the meat tender, with the flavors all coming together for a real taste extravaganza. The owners are very polite and friendly. I've eaten in other Indian restaurants and this is by far the tastiest.
This was my first visit to Little India Express. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala (medium spicy), Garlic Naan, and Vegetable Samosas.All I can say is wonderful flavors all around. The Chicken Tikka is fantastic! They have an expansive menu of items to choose from that all look delicious.Customer service was excellent too! I’m looking forward to returning!
