We are doing a construction project nearby and I absolutely love soup. I came in but must have missed the cash only sign. The lady gave me the soup and an IOU and told me to come back and pay when I could. I was blown away by this. I went back to pay today and met what I would assume was the owners. Amazing people that you can’t help but be happy around them.They have a wide selection of soups that change daily. They are absolutely amazing soup. I highly recommend supporting this local small business. You won’t be disappointed.
Amazing everytime best soups ever
This is place is ahhhh’mazing they have so many Soups to try and all of them are delicious. My favorite place to find comfort food.
We got two soups: potato three cheese and a corn chowder. They were both very good - the three cheese a little salty but the chowder delicious. We also got a whole wheat baguette and cornbread. The cornbread was excellent, the baguette fairly standard. Overall good, not super cheap and not super expensive. We did take-away because of COVID.
Excellent soup counter. A simple to-go format with add-on rolls option. Really enjoyed the sausage/bean/collared greens soup. Be forewarned that only cash & checks accepted.
This place was AMAZING! And that’s an understatement. Will definitely be making this a frequent place to visit and the staff was very helpful with suggestions
I'm here at least every other week for whatever sounds the best when I get there. The options are different every day, so you never really know what delicious surprise awaits you. But I guarantee that they will always be delicious! And there will always be something good on the record player as well. Bring cash - and don't forget to tip!
After visiting for the first time, and to my shock and amazement, I can confirm the soups are not as advertised, as they are indeed finite. Nevertheless, they are delicious, fairly priced and comforting during the cold months. The person that served us was awesome, didn’t catch their name. Love that the packaging is not plastic with the soups, although, I did see some single use plastic being used elsewhere such as the wrap on the bread (boo!). Solid spot. Soup is worth it, don’t get the bread unless they change their packaging. Single use plastics need to die. Oh and btw it’s cash only

The best soups in Tacoma! We have never been disappointed. For such a tiny shop they always have a terrific selection of soups for all diets. Vegetarians and Vegans are definitely not an afterthought here which I appreciate.
