Nice view, good service (why add surprise automatic 20%?? do staff really get it? What if we hadn't liked the service?). Interesting menu, but food was mixed - octopus special nice, chickpea burger bland. Fairly skimpy wine pour for $11 - 14 glasses.
I was not expecting the level to detail, the flavorful experience of every dish. Our group is all well traveled and we were very impressed with the quality, service, and deliciousness of every bite. We felt like we’d been taken back Europe. The chef Steven (or Stephen?) and our server Zach (or Zack) were a delight. Way to go and congratulations on a beautiful addition to the dock street restaurants. Thank you!
Sweet eating spot on the water.This little foodie gem will do well. Very similar to The Table restaurant quality. Enjoyed every bite and the whole ambience wonderful ♡
Just really phenomenal food. Prices are honestly really great for what they're serving. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere for a middle of the road price. Extremely hard to beat.
Incalmo is amazing! I have been once for lunch and twice for dinner since they opened and everything I’ve had has been excellent. Their wine selection is fun and approachable and the quality of food is definitely comparable to its sister restaurant, The Table. You can’t go wrong with any of the housemade pastas and the burger is perhaps the best burger I’ve had in my life.The restaurant itself is very cute and the service has been great every time I’ve been. I hesitate to leave such a rave review because for now I can come in without a reservation, but everyone should know how fantastic it is.
A very nice addition to Tacoma. I enjoyed it and hope they start offering dinner more than two nights a week.
Incalmo is fantastic. The setting is very cool and modern, with great views of the Glass Museum. The menu isn't long but the food is diverse and delicious. Their burger is hands down the best burger I've ever had and their ribeye was cooked to perfection. Food presentation is impeccable, the chefs know what they are doing and everything my wife and I have ordered has looked and tasting amazing. The staff is super friendly and attentive, I cannot recommend this place enough!!
Not our favorite and we love the Table. This was a totally different vibe and the food was not as good. Went for dinner. The music was loud obnoxious techno. Very distracting and did not fit. There were only 3 tables full on a Saturday night. Wait staff was courteous and just sort of hanging out quietly chatting waiting for something to do. The homemade pasta was ok. The carbornara was good but small portion. The pasta in the mushroom rigatoni was undercooked. Have had much better homemade pasta elsewhere. Overall disappointed. Maybe would try again for lunch with my kids but would not come back for a date night.
The best food I have put in my mouth in a long time. Incalmo, offers a relax dinning environment, and stands out with upscale farm to table flavors. We order the Delicata pizza( incredible, rustic, like a hug for the soul) and a muffaletta sandwich with a farm salad ( Everything I expected and more, salad was bright and fresh). Wow, all the food was amazing. And the pastries were equally impressive. Went for a lunch and ordered many items, all the flavors were well balanced. Can’t wait to check it out for dinner. Great job to all the hard working staff.
