The staff was nice but the service was not so great. Most of the food came out cold and then there was hair on my plate. I should have went with my first instinct and not ate at this location at all when I first saw how disgusting the windows, window seals and glass in-between the seatings were. I will not be eating at this location again and will go to the one I've gone to before that was much cleaner.
The walls are dirty, the bathrooms need an update. The place looked run down and uncared for. Sad I love IHOP, but this one is worn out. The people working there were great, very friendly, but they should be working in a cleaner environment and WE should be eating in one. That's on the owners! They should know better. So, food good, waitress' super, atmosphere dirty

Yikes! No cars in the parking lot it looked abandoned...But I still went in...ugh!! It's partially under renovations which makes for an odd feel. Understaffed ....but she tried! Out of stock on the meals we wanted......Avoid this place! I wish I did...but I was hungry.
Friendly staff but that was the highlight of my visit. We were seated immediately but didn’t get our order taken until 20 minutes after being seated and didn’t receive our food until an entire hour after arriving. Food tasted unpleasant and I couldn’t quite figure out why, it was almost like it had been left out for a while, old and stale I couldn’t explain it. Ordered unlimited pancakes and every time I asked for another stack (2 small pancakes), it took over 10 minutes for the next stack to come. It was not busy in there and it felt like a huge waste of time. I live in parkland but will probably be making the trip to puyallup next time I’m feeling I hop because of this. I just thank the friendly service for making this 2 stars instead of 1.
Every staff member was working together like a well-oiled machine … we appreciate you being here to feed us ❤️???☕️In these times of labour shortages, the restaurant owners sure lucked out with this crew. We waited only about 15 minutes to get a table on a busy Sunday early afternoon. Our server brought our beverages within 5 minutes thereafter, took our order and gave helpful suggestions, thanking us for coming in. Well done, Lakewood IHOP!
Arrived at 1015. Got on the wait list online. Staff was very confused and had a difficult time managing the Waitlist. Was Seated around 1040. Wasn't till 15 minutes later that we got a waiter to come by. Food came at 1140. Poorly managed location. Staff tried though. Just a leadership void that's very present
Went here the other day and the ham on my plate was cold along with my pancakes. Everything else was warm. That’s alright, but what really frustrated me was that the manager had said it was the waitresses fault when we watched her bring it to us as soon as it came out. When we brought that up he proceeded to get defensive and say “Well, it’s not the kitchens fault. When one of us messes up, we all mess up.” But he had just tried to blame the waitress.
