Order the Walnut Prawns and the shrimp fried rice. Awesome, best I have had in Lakewood. I will be returning many more times.
One of my favorite restaurants. Family had been going for yearsssss! My favorite are the potstickers. The sauce is the best I have ever had.

We used to love coming here! Sadly, the portions have shrunk over time so much that I left still hungry. The last 2 times, the same waitress was abrupt, even tho we tip well. Just not worth my time anymore.
Not the same recipes, tiny, tiny portions, meats were tough, no sauce and they Shorted us on a serving of rice. $35??? Frankly, the food was 100 Xs better at Panda Express in Lakewood Shopping Center. The only reason we had a decent meal was because I have a full selection of asian sauces at home. Add to that, I supplemented the meal with Trader Joe's Spring Rolls, and I steamed fresh Broccoli and Carrots.
Hunan Garden Restaurant has moderately good food with unusual takes on old recipes. However, the hostess and the server were very unfriendly. Hostess made us feel like criminals when we had logical questions about the menu. In fact she smiled only when we were leaving. Will not return!
Great food, great portions, great service, great atmosphere. Love the sizzling rice soup they serve. Always go here when I'm back in town.
Poor, bland food on this go around.I have eaten here several times in the past and thought it very good.This time, the cashew chicken had a very off putting urine odor. The food was flavorless.The chicken katsu was tender and breaded well, but had an off taste as well.
Got an appetizer, mongolia beef, and house fried rice! Was so amazing and had great friendly and quick service. Highly recommend them! Best asian food ive had in the area! Was too hungry to take photo !!
Fried foods tasted bad... oil was old. Odd taste and 3/4 full container of shrimp with periods. Other dishes were full containers.
