The service was A-1! The portions were great. The ability to order online for pick-up was the prime reason I selected this restaurant.I ordered the "Red Curry" it was a bit bland, mostly tasted like coconut milk. I have tried most of the Thai places in Tacoma and this one is not too bad nor real good, smack in the middle.
This used to be my favorite Thai place in the area but it's changed. The food used to be full of flavor and now it's bland. They've become just another generic Thai place.Ordered food today and as soon as I saw it I was worried, everything looked different, the smell was wrong and the taste was bland. I will no longer be a customer.

Friendly staff, prompt service and delicious food. Crab Rangoon had a good crab to cream cheese ratio. Got the pineapple fried rice and green curry for dinner. Big portions!

I love thai food and we decided to try out a new restaurant for my birthday after quite a few disappointments at other Gig Harbor/Tacoma area thai restaurants. Golden Teak surpassed all of my expectations, especially for take out! Even my kids and picky husband loved it!

The best Thai food I've had in a while. Typically I always ordered from another local Thai restaurant however my last few orders with them has left me wondering if there was an ownership change or kitchen staff change as the food I typically ordered no longer tasted the same. What I enjoy about Golden Teak is the cleanliness and authenticity of the dishes. My most recent order consisted of Larb Gai, Papaya Salad, Phad See Eiw and Singapore noodles. Everything was on par and better. This will definitely be the new order spot.
Lol @ their dollar upcharge for vegetarian or vegan on items that are already vegan. No substitutes. You want basil stir fry with tofu it’s one price, but if you specify you want it vegan, even though it already is vegan, you get charged an extra dollar. I guess I can’t comment on the quality of the food because I went somewhere else.
