We had one of the best meals we have ever had last night. From the miso soup to the ikura to the spider roll to the tempura to the sukiyaki, it was all excellent. Very kind and attentive waitress. Prices very reasonable. Definately deserves a five. Wish it were closer to where we live. Those in Tacoma are lucky to have this restaurant.
Best birthday dinner surprise!!! I've need waiting to go and it did not disappoint!! The ambiance is amazing! Cozy but you feel like you are in your own private space! Service was fantastic and fast and the food was stellar! We shared sushi,Ramen and a pork dinner and we both left full with leftovers! The sushi was the best I've had! I can't wait to go back!
This is definitely a hidden gem I. Downtown Tacoma. Stopped in and picked up lunch to go. Everyone was very nice. I was surprised it was not busier because the food is always great! I had sukiyaki and a rainbow roll. It was too much for lunch so there was enough for dinner.
Came here last night with my boyfriend and definitely coming back. The atmosphere is so cozy and relaxing. The mackerel was amazing and our server was super nice. I serve at a sushi restaurant myself and can say that this is a great spot and not too pricey! Give it a try?
I was delighted to see omakase options in price brackets that were feasible to me. Everything tasted great - my favorite was the hamachi temaki. Chefs are friendly and obviously masterful. In agreement with other reviewers, wait staff was really nice.
Sushi is always delicious and fresh. Super friendly staff too.
Absolutely the best Japanese food. Very nice and friendly staff. Highly recommend
Had the Salmon Nigiri, Gyoza and the Tonkotsu Ramen and ever fish was incredible. The sauce for the Gyoza and the chili oil are absolutely incredible ? will definitely be back 10/10
Fujiya is one of, if not the best place for Sushi. I don't personally like sushi but my wife does and nothing compares in her opinion. What I can definitely speak to is their teriyaki chicken, which is also one of the best in Tacoma
We enjoyed tempura and a beef dish that were very good. The soup was great, but the salad was not all that appealing. The dressing seemed to be more mayo than anything. Still, it was a good experience. Our server was fabulous
