Waitress was nice & very helpful with my large family.
The decline of an icon. It’s so sad went there with my family to enjoy a platter of bbq but didn’t get to enjoy a glass of water. We were seated then forgotten and waited patiently for over 15 minutes with not even one acknowledgement. No drink offer, not even a hello or glance as the staff passed us over 15 times. After waiting, I asked the front desk if I could speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one. I really hope the franchise owner and corporate sees this review and does something about what’s happening there. Included is a photo of the outside so you can know to just keep going when driving through Tacoma.
Stopped in 5/28 around 8:30pm. We were seated right near the entry door. Our server was great! Sadly I don't remember her name but she was very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. It was pretty empty so we got seated right away. I got a 3 meat combo, my fiance got a pulled chicken sandwich. He was raving about how good his meal was all night. I enjoyed the brisket a lot, it was really good and super tender. I was not a fan of the burnt ends and just didn't eat them. They were pretty tough and a waste of money in my opinion. And the chopped pork was really good as well. Those cornbread muffins were amazing though! We got a half dozen to take home. All in all, it was a good first time at famous Dave's and we'll definitely be returning!

We’ve been a big fan of FD for years. Had plenty of family birthdays there, was always one of our top restaurants. I decided to take my family there for my birthday this year and left very disappointed. Hostesses were awesome at getting us seated and finding us new space when more guests arrived. Waitress was friendly but a little scattered in a restaurant that was as slow as I’ve ever seen. Food was ok, not quite what I remembered but good. The coleslaw was absolutely terrible, couldn’t finish that. But no dessert or token for my birthday, no group photo, nothing. Just a thanks and hovering waitress as I have to decide the tip right in front of her. Awkward indeed and overall disappointing. I will be celebrating birthdays elsewhere in the future.

They don't call it Famous Dave's for nothing.This ain't no fast food restaurant so don't expect it fast.BBQ is slow cooked to perfection ??????.Bring the moolah ???? you saved during Covid cause you'll need it to pay for this BBQ and worth every penny.
They were short staffed and busy but when we finally got our meals they were amazing.Shout out to our Waitress Rebecca!
The food was not as good as the Everett location. However the service and experience was significantly better. As I put in other restaurant reviews lately, I do think the prices are high for what you get. I suspect this is pandemic related as restaurants try to recover from losses over the last two years
The food & service is always good when we visit. There are a variety of different items you can order. The portions are great and we always leave with a to-go box for later! My little one enjoys coming here and never complains while we are here.
