Wonderful Business! I ordered about 130 boxed lunches for a free tax event Goodwill held in February. The staff was so nice and accommodating, they even offered free delivery without me asking! The food was fresh and delicious, all our volunteers were complimenting the food choice and asking where we ordered from. Could not have been happier, great locally owned business with some awesome grub!

We were at the Museum of Glass and needed some lunch afterwards. This deli was absolutely perfect and hit the spot. They have a great selection of sandwiches for both carnivores and veggievores, beer, and cookies. The space was new, clean, and just a two minute walk away from the museum. The owners were also super nice and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Their sandwiches are priced well & the roast beef tasted good but I could have made a better one at home or went to a well known sand which place for a better sand which.

They allow loud parties to continue on until the middle of the night & they allow large maskless groups to congregate too. I appreciate the rude response from the owner. A loud birthday party kept me up las tonight well past 10:00pm and I live over 100ft from the establishment. As per ordinance I shouldn’t have been able to hear their music.

Delicious food, reasonably priced, and very friendly service.

We grabbed two takeout sandwiches today and could not have been happier about our choice. Dock Street Deli is the place to go as an alternative to sandwiches coming off the greasy grill at a bar. Both the Turkey, Bacon, Avocado and the Nutty Chicken had an ample (but not excessive) amount of meat and weren’t drowning in spreads or sauce. The flavor on the Nutty Chicken was very distinct with a combination of ingredients that would never have occurred to me.With no offense to the meat on either sandwich, the stars of the show here might just have been the bread. Sooo soft and tasty. We had the Caprese skewers as the side. They were just okay. Not quite the same quality of ingredients or creativity.I don’t know how you would find this deli unless you knew to look for it, but it’s worth the trip. If we had time it would have been a great day to sit out back on the spacious patio area. Maybe next time we pass through Tacoma.

Thank you, Dock Street Deli, for catering our gathering with ten friends from Seattle. We served a half dozen of your delicious Pastrami sandwiches, and a half dozen of your equally delicious Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwiches along with one of your trays of fruit, vegetables, and cheeses. The food disappeared within three hours. With so many folks from King County discovering Tacoma, we happily recommend your warm, efficient hospitality and unique, beautiful location!

Really great food and service with an amazing view. This is a hidden gem. The Reuben was delicious and is made with high quality ingredients. It is obvious there is attention to quality and details in the food served and dining experience. There are several other things I want to try on the menu and will be back regularly for lunch.*FYI*This place was difficult to find although I knew it was in The Henry building. After parking on the street I didn’t see any signs and Google maps told me I was at my location. It is located around the back side (water side) of The Henry.

Great friendly customer service towards humans and pups but most importantly quality delicious food and the view doesn't hurt!

They are always super kind and when I asked for a recommendation on what to have, they picked, pretty much, the best sandwich on the menu. I am in literal heaven right now, although no one here seems to know how to pronounce caprese. Also they made me sit on the ground. Jk. I did that on my own.
