Very disappointed in the lunch menu and quality of food. Will not return. There are much better restaurants in Tacoma.

This was a great experience. Reminds me of a diner in NJ or NY here on the West Coast. The Bartender Jasmine makes amazing cocktails. The staff are pleasant and tell you a history lesson about the mantle in this establishment and where it originated from. It’s a pretty cool story due to the bar being built around this huge mantle. Check it out and ask about it. You’ll be surprised. The food is good, large variety of options to choose from. Clean restaurant and restrooms. Get yourself an amazing cocktail and history lesson of the restaurant and chow down on some good grub. Check it out.
First time trying this place and it was fantastic! It has a lovely warm atmosphere in its design but still refreshing and light with all the windows. The host and servers were all very attentive and friendly. My server was Ashley and she did a wonderful job finding the perfect balance of not abandoning any customers but also not being too overbearing either. I ordered the Cerdo Benedicto and it was so flavorful. I'm excited to return soon to enjoy a new dish!
Cooks Tavern provides stellar service and outstanding food, in an airy, inviting space.For brunch, in lieu of a Mimosa, I recommend the Miele di Limone, pictured here.As of April 2022, they're featuring some Puerto Rican inspired dishes. Mmmm!
this has been a perpetual favorite for breakfast but had diner here the other day. what a disappointment. the restaurant was half full water was great but the food coming out was slow. portions were small except for the salad, my lasagna was good but again very small but my friend ordered an appetizer which was totally forgotten. after reminding the water after we finished dinner he did serve the mac and cheese which as far as we could tell had a sauce but no cheese. beeches mac & cheese was far superior. Stick to breakfast and pass on dinner

Great meeting place for Brunch, the food was excellent. The wait staff was busy, but attentive, refilling our coffee. We will definitely come back to try more outstanding items on the menu.
Not bad, and the outdoor seating is fantastic. My husband and I always wish they had more creative vegetarian options. So many folks are vegan/vegetarian these days, and it could be really great here
Love stopping by this place when I'm in town! I believe they are short staffed so be kind but the food was delicious. They were accommodating towards a dairy allergy and replaced the potatoes that came with my meal. My father got the chicken dinner and wow was it a lot of food for the money you paid. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the price was comparable to market. It was a quiet lovely dinner. They have a wonderful ambiance.Check em out if you're in the area!
