Campfire Coffee has several distinct things that make it excellent. The one that you won't find anywhere else in Tacoma (let alone Puget Sound to the best of my knowledge) - fire roasted coffee! While the majority of the roasters in North America and Europe use gas fired roasting methods, Campfire Coffee eschews fossil fuels in favor of wood. The beans, in turn, take on a different flavor both from the fuel and from the small roasting variations. This makes the resulting coffee have a richer, fuller flavor that does well to temper milk drinks or sweeter lattes.Without a DOUBT Campfire Coffee also happens to have the STRONGEST coldbrew I've ever had! Folks needing 2-3 cups of coffee in the morning might get by on a SIP of this!Beyond a unique and notable roasting method and cold brew that could wake the dead, Campfire Coffee is welcoming and has one of the friendliest and most personable owner/operators I've ever had the joy to meet. The effort and purpose that Quincy has put into Campfire shines through in all of the various food and beverage offerings. I have yet to have a drink from here I haven't enjoyed thoroughly!

What a cute coffee shop! Everything is camping-themed, even the names of their beverages. I think their specialty drinks are seasonal. I tried a 'blueberry lavender latte' and a 'toasted marshmallow latte'. Both beverages tasted really good! In blueberry lavender latte the lavender syrup is very subtle. I liked it!12 oz Blueberry Lavender latte $4.79 (before tax as of April 2022)16 oz Toasted Marshmallow Latte $4.99There are a couple of things I wish were different:The lower part of the menu is hard to read due to the screen. No menu on the website and no prices on the menu at the coffee shop. Also, do specify if you want your drink hot or iced (:

Beautiful morning in Tacoma. Offered to buy one of the university security staff a coffee but unfortunately he wasn’t a coffee drinker! Oh well it’s the thought that counts. Thanks for creating a space to share life together!

Decent coffee shop just up the hill from Union Station and the museums. Echoing its name, the shop has a rustic camping vibe, it was cozy and relaxing. The indoor space is pretty spacious and I received friendly service. Had a latte and the coffee...was ok.

Delicious coffee and breakfasts. Good promotions and deals from time to time. Love the atmosphere and theme. The owner I met was awesome and all the employees I run into are very helpful and chill. Definitely recommend! <3 Wish they were open a little later in the day!

Absolutely love this place. The baristas are always so kind and welcoming. Each time I go I like to try a new drink, my favorite so far is the Toasted Marsh Latte. Black-owned and women-owned, its a win for me!

Outdoors adventure meets a comfortable community. Campfire goes beyond the standards of a coffeeshop. Besides providing a solid cup of coffee the staff works to know you amd your drink. Owners have prioritized the customers needs and product which makes this coffeeshop a desired place to be.

Delicious black coffee and a wonderful chai latte. Beautiful and clean space with lovely organic touches like the natural light and hanging bug art and the tree round tables. I highly recommend.

Beautiful spot with a good feel to it. Muffins were great. Service was exceptional. Very clean. It looked like the owner was being interviewed while we were there. Very welcoming place.

Campfire is a Black owned business which means GO THERE! Support your community! Aside from the coffee drinks and delicious beans, they also have a great book selection which, on my last visit, featured a fantastic anthology of writing by local Tacoma authors. What a pleasure!
