Went in today for lunch and decided on the BBQ sandwich. It was $17 after tax and on top of that there machine was programmed to 30% tip so when I didn’t notice and pressed sign I ended up paying $21 for it. Some time goes by and I get what looks like school lunch. And tasted just about the same as it too. i was so disappointed. The buns tasted cheap, the meat was not even warm and that’s all it was. A small…very small sandwich and maybe a handful of fries. I finished, left and realized my meal never came with the coleslaw it says it did on the menu. I feel like I got robbed for my money, time, and appetite. My stomach is already hurting
I really enjoyed this restaurant. Independent brewer. Friendly atmosphere, wonderful staff, amazing food, and of course an incredible selection of house brewed beer as well as a selection of house crafted sodas. if they didn't close I'd never leave. They are also family friendly. There wasn't much of a wait from when I ordered to when the food arrived. I got the Blunderbuss Burger and my wife got the Pub cheeseburger. Cooked to order, it was very tasty I regret not getting another. So that's why I plan to go back. If you go to the Puyallup farmers market, check out their booth and say hello.
Holy cow is this a welcoming establishment... not what i would expect being so close to Seattle. The beer menu is very diverse and doesn't just tailor itself to the IPA fad. Snagging a flight and tasting what they have to offer while enjoying a smokey salmon &cream cheese roll (PNW Tacoma Roll) is the route i took. Kelly and Bill made my experience here feel personalized and unique, it makes me miss my small home town where i was raised. If i could give a sixth star, this place deserves it. Visited last night with my husband.We had fun here: the staff delivered top notch customer service (attentive and professional), the food was excellent (beer battered fish crispy, not greasy, fries similar, and side salad fresh: ), the music was played at just the right volume to hear 60s-80s popular and rock. Many brews from which to choose.

First time visit with a friend. The flight is the way to go, for me, as I will always want to try the creative and more traditional beers they make!! So fun and the beers are very distinctive from one another. Oh and I have to say…the burger with crispy cheese was amazing!! Love the atmosphere, got to meet owners, and look forward to return visits to bless my taste buds and learn more about the history and evolution of the building!
Try a flight and savor multiple flavors of their delicious beer. Have some pub fare food, fish and chips were very good. The cinnamon and sugar donuts delightful. Great place to play a game with friends. If you grab a front window seat there is a nice view. Plenty of street parking just be aware of the 90 minute limit.Go and enjoi great service in a family relaxing atmosphere.
So far every trip we make to Tacoma we have stopped by Black Fleet Brewing... not just for smooth brew with complex profiles, but the delightful staff that may be exhausted from Covid, yet you would never know. You will always smile from the great service you recieve. You v will enjoy it immensely... the people, the bree, the food, and the atmosphere. Cheers.
