Food was great. Soooo great. Quick and friendly service as well. Will definitely be back. I do wish it was open both later, and on the weekends, but hope that may change in the future. For now, I will be getting lunch here any time I have a weekday off.
Birrieria Gourmet is an amazing addition to Downtown Tacoma's dining scene. Not only is their food absolutely delicious and great quality, but their staff is so kind and wonderful. So delighted to have them in our downtown community!
I am a vegetarian. I wasn't sure about this due to very little reviews but so glad stopped by and got some QuesaBirriera. The protein was soy based. It was a cold rainy day. The Birriera hits the spot. It was good. The cashier told me the background story of how they started as a food truck and now opened up a location. Btw, the indoor seating might throw you off as it has a modern new look, which I was surprised by it. Definitely a good place to hang out to have lunch.
Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Birria tacos and birria ramen were both delicious!
Not only was the service AMAZING. These tacos were the best tacos I have had since moving up North. You have to stop by and try it. They are worth every bite.
Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Can't remember how many times we have ordered from them. And the owners are so nice, their service is spectacular!
Amazing little lunch spot! The dining area is bigger than you'd expect from the outside, very tidy and fun vibes. We had the quesabirrias which were AMAZING - oozy cheese, tender beef, tortilla shells to provide just the right amount of support for dipping, and super flavorful consomme. The salsa and chili oil was really good too. They gave us to-go boxes by accident when we dined in, so we got to see how they thoughtfully put the onion and cilantro in a separate baggie so you can dispense as you wish on your tacos.
Visited for first time - amazing food, great atmosphere. Fast, fair prices, excellent food so good!!
