I am so glad I found this place. It doesn’t look like a fancy place from outside, but inside is well decorated and modern. Deep fried brie is simply amazing… and Paella was fantastic as well!!! A pleasant place to have some drinks and decent food. Just try!!!

Wow! What a great spot for dinner, drinks and dessert! Zac answered our questions about each dish, smiled and made us feel so welcome! The food was on point! Try the Korean pork belly and the lavender creme brulee! We went all our with apps, entrees, dessert and cocktails! The menu was not outrageous for the flavors!

The atmosphere was great. Friendly service and clean establishment. The crab cake was salty. Ribeyes was chewy.Edit: I left out the desert - the beignets were to die for!

Tried the restaurant as part of Tacoma Restaurant week. The building was unattractive from the outside and the parking lot was almost full. The restaurant was extremely dark inside. We sat at the bar. The crabcake and the goat cheesecake were the best part of the meal. The polenta served with the lamb shank was salty and there was too much vinegar in the greens. The presentation of the rib-eye was unappetizing. Dark potato hash, underdone rib-eye, and roasted brussels sprouts served on a black plate. Watching the bartender work was entertaining. Might come back for a mixed drink and appetizer; but, it is too far where we lived.

Me and a girlfriend went here for an early dinner and drink. We order these cute drinks. A little too sweet for my taste, but still good. The food was great. The fried frie was on point. I also got the pork belly which I loved. I am giving it a 4 star review because the location of this place was surprising. The vibe is relaxed, but also trendy. Parking was great though.

Bar Bistro is a gem! Wonderful scratch cocktails and a menu to die for! I always love their selection on their charcuterie, but we finally tried the deep fried brie and OMG have we been missing out! I had the pot roast which was so tender and full of flavor! The rainbow carrots were cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes were divine! My fiance tried the pork chop with polenta and greens and his was so good as well!

Outstanding food, unique and tasty drinks and great service. We will be back

Great atmosphere and even better food. The staff was very friendly and was able to answer all our questions about their menu items.

My friend brought me here for dinner Saturday night and all I can say is AMAZING! The drinks, food, and the service was impressive! Summer, our bartender was so sweet and personable, we never waited for anything! Definitely will be a favorite spot from now on!

What an absolute revelation! I came here with a coworker for a random Tuesday dinner. We had the pork belly, elk sliders, and birria flatbread. All were lovely. The elk was perhaps a bit dry but still quite nice. We had mains of the ribeye and mushroom risotto. These were both immense dishes! Wrapped up with lavender creme brulee and tres leches. I cannot say how much I loved this out of the way restaurant. Well worth the drive.
