This place is on our way home and used to be pretty good. I wouldn't know now since we haven't been able to successfully order from them in a long time. Most of the time, no one answers the phone. This last time, they answered the phone. We asked for two #40 for pick-up. The woman on the phone said they didn't have any #40 (teriyaki chicken), and to go somewhere else. We asked if they had anything else and she said, no, you go somewhere else. So we did, and will from now on.
This place has been owned by same couple for a long time. I was in there with my sister the other day for lunch and I could not believe they were not busy. The menu is extensive and the food is great. Little neighborhood restaurant!
This was my second time visiting this place.Rice OKChicken Dry/burntTeriyaki sauce burnt? Lol idk it tasted rancid to the point it ruined the rice. An awful after taste ?Overall I didn’t get food poisoning. The first time I can here was when it first opened up and it was a similar visit.
The worse teriyaki I've had in a long time. Teriyaki chicken tasted burnt and sweet and sour chicken was the worst thing ive ate. And it wasn't even red it was yellow.
Love this place. We eat here often and are never disappointed. Delicious food and wonderful staff. The owner always makes me feel like an old friend when I go in. Definitely recommend!
First time eating here...the food and service is great. If you get a chance drop by and order! Yummy!
Ordered teriyaki chicken.Tasted burned and could see that it was BBQ'd to a crisp.Would not order from here again.
We use to have a favorite teriyaki restaurant in Tacoma, decided to take a chance and try this place tonight when we drove by and saw it. We now have a new favorite teriyaki place! We got teriyaki chicken and sweet and sour chicken, everything was amazing the food and the service. Very impressed!
This place is fast, and delicious. We are lucky to be close by, and able to get there often. The owners are kind and wonderful folks. Try the yakisoba. IMO it’s the best in Tacoma.
