Of all the locations, this is my favorite. I dropped in one morning when I was just too tired to make my own breakfast and coffee and had a surprisingly perfect breakfast burrito. Then the barista made me a traditional macchiato just the way I like it and I sat in contentment looking out on the museum of glass and commencement bay. It was a perfect moment in an otherwise hectic day.
Disgusting nasty door dash driver ate half of anthem fries and sipped my coffee down just enough for me to see the whip cream was higher. If anthem coffee placed the seals on their food and drink like everyone else maybe it would have detered my POS dasher from enjoying my lunch! I say to myself atleast I have the cinna roll. Nope, that thing was crunchier than the fries.
I wanted to visit this coffee place for a long time and it was totally worth the wait. The cappuccino was amazing and loved every sip of my coffee. The ambiance was good too with a nice view of the waterways. The location is great too! However, the food here is average and most of their menu is unavailable. Overall I had a good time.
Never again will I order from this place. I'm not a coffee drinker but my gf insisted I should try this place a couple of weeks ago. Whoever made the coffee that day did an excellent job.The reason I will not return is because i ordered delivery this morning and whoever packaged this coffee did a horrible job. No sticker on top of the cup like taco bell or McDonald's have to prevent ppl from sipping on your drinks. They put a straw on the side of my coffee that has been out in the open with no packaging like straws come in. Half filled coffee. It was just disgusting. Just sloppy. I expect cleaner service when we tip delivery generously.

It's so cozy in here. It gets noisy, but it's a great place to start your day downtown.
Recommended to me by a friend -- cute drinks and located close to the glass museum/bridge if you'd like to walk with your sip!
Finally got to visit this place and was well worth the wait. Such a beautiful building. The menu was straight forward and visible right when you walked in. I ordered a 16oz dirty Chai Latte, which was very well balanced and delicious. All three baristas were informative and friendly. Will definitely be back whenever I'm in Tacoma.
Let me be clear: Anthem makes fantastic coffee, like really delicious coffee. The ambiance of the room is also fantastic, they are one of my favorite coffee shops!But they have two downfalls.Speed: If there's a line it takes a godawful amount of time to get drinks out. I truly don't know what they're doing but you will be w a i t i n g.Food: oh my god the food. The breakfast burritos are wet. Like water spewing out when you take your first bite wet. It's honestly disgusting. The breakfast sandwiches are usually a little burnt and the cheese is so plasticy that it turns into a sauce when they heat em up. The baked goods are what I would expect from a gas station.I hate to have to say it because I genuinely love their coffee and the vibe of the place; but for the love of God they need to carry better food if they want to outshine the Starbucks across the street!
