I make 4 stops at these types of stand in a week and I gotta say most times the coffee is good but the time to make a cold coffee is long and the girls seem to enjoy themselves more then the customers . Being in business getting in and out with quick friendly service is good for business. The girls need to do better with there time management. More cars more coffee being made ... It is slightly disappointing knowing toy will be waiting at least 10 min if not longer... Love the back story of white dog just wish it was as sweet as when it all started for this small business.
They consistently get my drink wrong. No matter what the drink is, it’s either wrong flavor (which usually I only ask for one flavor) or cream instead of an alternative milk - which, I am lactose intolerant. So having to go into work and find out it’s dairy is infuriating. There’s only two people who actually know what they’re doing it seems like.
I would never buy coffee from this place they have no rules or structure. HOSANNA that works up on the south hill would let me in the stand for hours to either help do her job or just stand there and let me tell you the clutter and unsanitary practices I saw were truly disgusting. The only positive was being in the stand alone with her if you know what I mean and all the free drinks I would get I’m pretty sure there’s a rule but between her myself her dad mom sister and god knows who she must be giving out 10+ free drinks daily.
So here's the deal ... I freaking love this coffee kiosk! While the coffee is amazing, it's not the only reason I go there every day. I could drive to all of the coffee places in Spokane, and I'd most likely find a lot of friendly baristas to make my drink. But, none of these coffee masters are as friendly and helpful as the South Hill White Dog girls! When I roll up to the White Dog window, I'm greeted by name, no matter which smiling face takes my order. And speaking of "my order," I always get the same thing; a 32-ounce iced keto-style Americano with sugar free chocolate, vanilla, and macadamia nut flavors, with heavy whipping cream and light ice, with a large straw instead of two skinny straws. That's a mouthful AND a brainful! All of the girls at White Dog have memorized my order and begin fixing it the moment I pull up to the window. Oh, and my chihuahua, Oliver Kitty, goes with me when I go for coffee, and he loves to get a lid with whipped cream on it (his mouth is too tiny to eat doggy treats). So, each time we roll up, the girls get his whipped cream to him right away, before he can even cry out for it! And yes, the coffee is magnificent, too! There are over thirty drive-thru coffee places in Spokane, but as long as I get the personal touch that I get at White Dog, nobody else will be satisfying my coffee cravings.
So me and my fiancé really like this coffee shop and everybody there is just so nice and goes above and beyond for their customers today I went there and got my normal drink and I didn’t taste right so she offered to remake it and again when it was remade it just didn’t taste right and at that point I felt bad so I told her that I would just keep the second drink made and she was insistent on her remaking it for me which then I said okay and third time the drink came out perfect but just the whole transaction she wanted me to leave happy and that is customer service. I don’t know her name but she has light brown hair and today she was in black pants and a blue Ty dye sweater. You girl are awesome! Thank you for being so nice. I can’t tell you the number of coffee shops I will not go to anymore because if they make the drink wrong or if it didn’t taste right whatever the case is they just seem so bothered and irritated to even remake it and you were just so sweet about it. I appreciate you and hope everyone there has a epic day!
Better for coffee than food I guess. I’ve loved their turkey pesto bagel but always without cream cheese as I can’t have diary (the small amount in pesto is less severe). Today they accidentally put on cream cheese but I caught it before I took the sandwich. She apologized, took it back, and they asked me to pull forward. Ok no big deal. When she came back out she clearly just scraped the cream cheese off and added more pesto. I’m all about reducing food waste but they tore chunks of my bagel out and there was still cream cheese on the veggies and bagel. Don’t go here if you want somewhere that cares about your food sensitivities or allergies.
Great caramel latte, can't wait to try some of their signature drinks! Also enjoyed my meat breakfast burrito!
This place is the epitome of average. It's a toss up if your barista is nice, short with you, wearing a mask, or completely bothered you're there. The coffee is usually pretty good, and it's a local business, so it's a decent option. Be prepared to wait though- cars take anywhere from 8-12 minutes a piece. I'm never there shorter than 20 minutes... If you're patient and just want good coffee, it's a decent option.
I really enjoy going to the location off of Sprague, but this location has been fairly unpleasant. The girls working generally aren’t the nicest, the attention to detail in the drinks is subpar, and you’re typically waiting in line for quite some time unless you’re the only car at the stand. Again, I’ve had a wonderful experience at the Sprague location so this isn’t to bash the company as a whole. It’s just frustrating to get two completely different experiences from two stands that share the same name.
Good coffee, good prices. If you're in a hurry, don't bother stopping. Staff is supposed to be friendly but they talk to each customer way too much.
