We used to come here all the time but since new management/owners I’m not so sure anymore. The waitress was really friendly and the service is always good but the phone never works. We have to go there to place a pick up order and wait. Last time it took an hour and a half of waiting. I believe the sushi chef was new because he kept looking at the menu and was pretty slow. I have very high expectations for this place because it was so wonderful before and have honestly not been impressed lately. The restaurant was dirty, under staffed and the sushi was flavorless. Really hoping some changes are made because this was our absolute favorite spot.
I called as soon as I got off work that is 30+ minutes away. They put me on hold, I was still on hold when I arrived. I walked in, waited 5 minutes before I was acknowledged. I placed my order. Took 40 minutes. For 4 rolls. Only 1 waitress for 3 tables for 2 each. The maker of the sushi was extremely slow and messy. Another patron came in who also couldn't get a phone order in. Also ordered 4 rolls. Was told 20 minutes. Out of my 4 rolls, 2 were to be baked in a sauce and 2 were to be topped with tobiko. Those were not done. And also sauce was very lite. Rice is extremely old and hard. Flavorless. Fish is chewy, and never once saw a change of gloves by waitress or "chef" while making rolls. And yes the waitress assisted with the rolls never changing gloves out even when reaching into the jar of ginger. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Rolls look nice but taste horrible.
Ordered a tuna salad and got quite a lot of fish a small patty of rice, but no salad dressing and very few leaves of lettuce, all topped by raw white onion. There was no ginger, edamame, or avocado on the salad. On top was a lot of cracked black pepper. Definitely not worth the $15 I paid for the dish.Half of the items on the menu are unavailable, but the waitress was really nice and did a great job despite being the only person serving tables.
If I could post no stars I would! We have been going here for most of our date nights. It has been horrible food, service, atmosphere and super dirty! My boyfriend has been a very religious customer for well over 7 years!!! since we have been back in the last three times it has been horrible. Not only has the hours changed randomly but the food quality and customer service has gone so far down. The lady who was running it on April 4th 2022 was in the back smoking and not helping us. We walked up thinking the hours were the same. We were told 4:30 pm it will be open and it was now 5pm and still wasn’t opened. We will no longer be going here. Looking for a new sushi place to go! I’m so disappointed and disgusted with everything
I must confess that surely she is a skilled professional trader and the best among all, as her clients all said, I saw so many positive reviews about Mrs Mrs Mariel Ramsey, and she managed my account after I Invested $1000 and got a successful withdrawal of $10,200 within few days of my investment, "It always seems impossible until it’s done"., with Mrs Mariel Ramsey your hard-earned money is 100% secured/Safe You can contact her via Email: [email protected] WhatsApp +19736928825.
Wow. Just Wow. Talk about a fall from grace. This place used to be PHENOMENAL, and I haven’t been there recently, but ordered their sushi on Door Dash, this evening. First off, they charge about an additional $6 per roll, on delivery service, vs their restaurant price (SOO SHADY). That is THEIR DECISION, and far exceeds what should be expected… So I can’t blame Door Dash for this FIRST point of contention. This could be forgiven, BUT THEN, I received the food. On door dash, EACH OF THESE ROLLS was $32. Astronomical, but if the food is good, I can eat the cost. THIS is what arrives…. A complete lump of [email protected]&t, a bargain basement California Roll, with PAPER THIN, fish on top. (Rainbow roll?) Notice the creative ingenuity in stretching a 50 cent piece of shrimp over 3 pieces. Salmon? For $32 we couldn’t POSSIBLY expend our kitchen to provide that!! Take this small scrap we found on the floor. Avocado? Gee whiz, those are pricey, maybe he won’t notice we didn’t use one. ?. And the other roll? Far from fresh, as well. I would have to describe this more as a rice mayonnaise dish, with a fish veneer. Not enough actual meat, for me to constitute this as sushi. I ordered from Kobe Hibachi the week before. HUGE PORTIONS, loads of thick fresh fish, a meal I could actually get full on. I don’t normally write reviews, but it was INSULTING, to see what this restaurant has the audacity to charge, for a corner-cut, bastardized version, of what you’d expect sushi to be (ESPECIALLY AT THESE RIDICULOUS PRICES). This place used to be great! And now, I can tell by my meal, they give two $hits about providing their customers with a quality meal. Great job guys! Hope you read every word of this, and feel some sense of embarrassment ????
Please DON’T EVER EAT HERE. I use to work at wasabi bistro as a dishwasher for a couple weeks and it was atrocious. The first 2 pictures are BLACK MOLD in the dish pit. The 3rd and 4th pictures are the floors in the back, the 5th and 6th pictures are of the break room. One of my first days I cleaned said break room and took out about 20 empty bottles of tequila, 30 or 40 empty beer cans, 7 bags of straight garbage, and plenty other nasty finds. The last 2 pictures are of THE BABY CHANGING STATION. DISGUSTING. Not to mention the owner drinks on the job from time to time. Other than this being the dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever worked at, it was also the sketchiest. No paperwork was done, they don’t have their liquor license, and they are nowhere to be seen on the better business bureau. The short lady that usually works the front is not some helpless waitress running the front by herself, she’s the owner and does so to make customers feel bad which also takes hours away from actual waitresses. She takes the majority of the tips as well. The food might be tasty but it’s not to be trusted.
Went to dinner with my daughter for a father daughter date. She wanted sushi I picked here because my wife and I have had lunch there before and really liked their rolls. This time when we walked in there were roughly ten customers. The staff informed us that they were only able to serve sushi which was ok because that is what we came for. After 20 minutes from ordering the staff looked hurried and my daughter asked what was taking so long. I said that something must have happened because they looked rushed and couldn’t cook any appetizers. After 40 minutes from ordering there were only 6 people in the restaurant including my daughter and me. There were 10 staff members at this point. I got up and poured myself some water at this point for me cup had been empty for about 30 minutes. They came by and said our food should be out soon. At 1 hour of waiting after ordering they carried a roll to the table behind us who had sat down about 30 after us. At this point my daughter was in tears with hunger and Frustration. I stood up apologized to my daughter and the staff and walked out. I couldn’t believe what had just happened and how crushed I felt having picked that restaurant for your date. At no point did we receive any explanation for the delay other than short staff. When the staff outnumber the guest you are not short staffed.
Food was good, but place is dirty and seems poorly maintained. I was handed a sticky dirty menu, so then I wash my hands in the bathroom but the floor was sticky the whole way there and the bathroom floor was really bad. Had to pee so went to lift the toilet seat and it's dirty and broken. When we got our food it came on a dirty plate. My wife's cup had stuff on the side of it. But we did get a huge amount of curry and the curry was really good.
Normally this place would be great but since they’ve gotten new management the customer service skills have sucked royally…. Doesn’t open on time, closes randomly, and absolutely no communication or answering of the phones. Waste of time. Go somewhere else to eat.
