Went in early on father's day and had a great breakfast. I had the bun bo hue, my wife enjoyed her pho ga, and my daughter's had some some cups of rice. The waitress was very nice and asked if I knew that what I was ordering wasn't normal pho. I told her I knew what I was getting myself into. Everything tasted amazing, another person checked on us a few times to see how our meal was, and he was exceptionally nice. Overall some of the best Vietnamese food I've had in Washington, definitely stop by if you want some great Vietnamese food.
This review is limited to their version of my favorite of all the Vietnamese beef broth based soups: Bún bò Huế. I grew up in Southern California near many vibrant Asian communities. One of my favorite to visit was Little Saigon in Santa Ana. That is THE place to get a bowl of bún bò with ALL (pig blood curd, pork knuckle, etc.) the fixings swimming in a complex spicy, salty broth. Three Sisters served up what was by a wide margin the best bún bò I've had in Spokane. Most local restaurants treat their bún bò as an afterthought by adding chili oil to their phở broth. Not Three Sisters! The nuoc mam and fermented shrimp paste provide the umami notes that amplify the lemongrass infused beef broth. Most Americans tend to focus on the noodles and protein but it should be the broth that is tasted first and only then adjusted with the various add-ins. I would have been happy with a bowl of the broth...it's a that good. They are also one of the few Vietnamese restaurants in town to serve this dish with the correct noodle. I can't wait to try other dishes on their menu.
Came here a few days ago for brunch, my husband and I ordered pho dac biet, pho shrimp, egg rolls, and Thai ice tea. Everything was delicious, we both thought the broth was very flavorful. We were one of the first customers for the day and the place started to fill up quickly, but a thing we both noticed were all the locals enjoying themselves. Now you know a place is authentic when even the locals choose to eat there.
This is a regular stop for us when we go to Costco or Home Depot on Sprague. The owners are great people and hard workers. We converse with them regularly. The food is good but portions are on the smaller side. The amount of meat in the Pho is not great and the Bahn Mi is short on meat too.
Don’t let the name fool you-you can eat here! While it appears they do a very brisk takeout and delivery business, they do have a dining room. The service was friendly-with a big menu, I asked for a surprise. I believe I received the Beef Broccoli. It was perfectly prepared, with fresh veggies that were cooked to retain a slight crunch, just like they should be. The beef was flavorful and tender- the sauce was light, and not overpowering. I’m looking forward to trying something else on my next visit. My wife had the tofu curry, which had a nice kick to it. The dish was bursting with flavor.
Best Pho' in all of Spokane. The only business that serves real Pho with Tripe and rib eye bone with excellent authentic broth
Very good chicken fried rice. Fast service.
Their pho and banh mi sandwiches are amazing.
I walked in asked for food, I payed for it and left. It was so good and could feed a fat man like me twice. Also got one for my sick friend and it was great to see her face light up in joy. Highly recommend if you like good soup.
Update: Aug 2021, they improved and have great and more consistent good pho dac biet and bun bo hue. Those are the two dishes I always get.Rarely do their pho taste bad, but they do have their days.Old:Coming from a Vietnamese, who goes to every single restaurant in town multiple times. This place, as of May 2021, has the best pho in Spokane. Lee Brother’s pho used to be the best, but the old cook left and quality has went down a notch. Personally, the best food here are the pho dac biet, Bun Bo Hue (Vietnamese Spicy beef noodles), roasted pork banh mi, and special vermicelli noodle. The second level would be their roast pork vermicelli, combo rice (egg, pork, bi), special seafood soup noodle, and chow fun ( Hủ tiếu xào ).If you like fried rice, chow fun, chow mein and other Chinese dishes. I would recommend Black Straw (Aka the Best Boba place). They have one of the best Chinese food in town.
