great place all the employees are always so sweet and treat you great

We enjoyed the Shepherds ? pie which was very delicious. Made with Roast Beef & creamy mashed potatoes. Yum! I had an amazing Burger with the Pea Salad. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great atmosphere. We had not been there for years. It was still beautiful & as great as we remembered ??❤️

On Saturday, June 18, 2022, we ate at the North Spokane Onion restaurant. We brought a big group of 12 people—eight adults and four children ranging in ages from 2-7. We also brought big appetites! It was a 30-minute wait but that length of time is much more tolerable when you have a special kid’s area to keep the little ones occupied. What’s not to like about a dedicated spot for children complete with televisions, chalk boards, carnival mirrors, and more. Our large group was successfully seated all together in an arrangement that made sense. Our server did a good job navigating our special requests, including bringing out the meals of our children before the adult meals. The kid’s menu at the Onion has a lot of choices with some boujie items that run up to $14. Our kids just got either mac and cheese or a cheeseburger. Not going to lie, it took a long time to get our food. Part of that was probably our group size, part of it was probably because it was a busy Saturday night, and part of it could have been that the kitchen was having a bad night. But dare I say that the wait was worth it? I had the Cougar Gold cheeseburger that was absolutely superb. It was definitely the best burger that I had in quite some time. Although, I should add that when you are paying $17.50 for a cheeseburger it better be good. The French fries matched the burger for quality and freshness. They were so damn good. Here is a pro tip for all of you reading this: It isn’t outwardly advertised that the Onion’s French fries are bottomless but they are. Take advantage of it! My wife got the chicken ranch wrap as did my sister but there were inconsistencies with how they were cooked.Overall, it was a good experience…at least for me. I appreciated a good meal and would definitely eat there again.

Definitely filling! Our server was really nice and patient. We didn't have to wait for a table.Food was really good. Their onion rings are delicious and humongous. Could be a meal by themselves. The chips for the salsa and chips were little stale. But overall nice experience

Incredible atmosphere and musical playlist in the restaurant. The Crab dip?was 10/10 good! Fat onion rings, tall Burgers, and the house sea salt fries were perfectly crispy ? this is a MUST eat location in Spokane. The Beer menu is also 2 pages long! ?

I went here a couple of years ago and the service, atmosphere and food were excellent. I would highly recommend

Excellent food and great service. Love the atmosphere as well. Worth every penny spent.

I ordered here from Uber eats and I ordered a hula chicken burger but got a beef patty with Swiss cheese and pineapple.. I called to let them know and the manager literally tried convincing me that the CHICKEN burger doesn’t come with chicken. But in the description it says a grilled chicken breast. There are ways to solve issues and people make mistakes. But for her to lie and deceive is not right.

We used to love going to the onion, especially for their mushroom and Swiss burger and steak fries…was the best in town! Went there last night with my parents and the only good part about our experience was our nice waitress, Kaela. After we had to resort to being seated at a high top in the bar because no booths were available, it took us about 15 minutes to be offered drinks, and another 20 minutes after ordering all of our food to have our onion rings delivered. After waiting for quite awhile, we asked if we would be getting our food soon, and Kaela apologized profusely and said it was now at the 50 minute mark since the order had been submitted. 50 MINUTES?! I understand and empathize with restaurant staff cause like…been there done that, but they were not busy at all and they had plenty of staff. Finally got our food delivered, and my mom couldn’t even stomach the French dip. Being somewhat of a conossieur, she said it was the worst she had ever tasted….the dip had no flavor and the bread was all soggy. I ordered the Larry’s Big O burger and the hamburger was so dry I kept choking and coughing it up. Pitiful amount of fries on the side too. And the buns were super hot, while the burger was room temp, almost like they had thrown them back on the grill at the last minute to reheat after they had been sitting around. Long story short, Kaela was super kind. And both my parents and myself are sick as a dog today from whatever was wrong with what we ate yesterday! Onion, please do better!
