We went to the location on 29th yesterday and probably the best service we have received from any of the locations. Josh was a server and they were short staffed and I would have never known. Food came out promptly and tasted as expected the spice level we liked. Kids food came out before ours which I always appreciate. He was taking care of a lot of tables on his own and put in place a system to flag him down and I just appreciated his attention to detail and not letting us the customer know how crazy I am sure things were for him. Will come to this location more in hopes of having Josh as our server!!!
Looks kinda cheesy on the outside, but the food is good, and the atmosphere is light hearted and fun. Price range goes from 16-28 bucks on average so pricey but they give you a lot of food.I had tofu phad thai, 5 stars, 3 diamonds and it was fairly spicy. Although I think spice heads might want to go for a 5 and 5. Also they can add a spice tray so you can add as much as you want.
One of our favorite places to dine in or take out. Love their new lounge area. We always had great service when it was down the road, but I swear since they've moved to their new location it's even better! Everyone seems to enjoy working there!
The atmosphere is great with really neat and authentic Thai carvings and art pieces. The hostess did not greet us when we got there and after waiting almost 5 minutes she finally said she'd be right with us. (There was nobody else waiting and had plenty of open tables) then after we got seated we didn't hear from our waitress for another 10 minutes. She looked like she just rolled out of bed. Not trying to be mean but it was very obvious that she put zero effort into trying to look good today. She finally got us some waters and asked if she could get us anything besides water but we were already to order. I asked for the coconut shrimp as an appetizer but asked for one extra so we each got to have one. She brought 5 instead of 6, burnt shrimps with no appitizer plates! I personally wouldn't have served them to my guests if it were my kitchen. And would have brought plates, too. Our food was decent however mine was room temperature. I don't understand why our experience was not as good as other locations. They are probably understaffed just like everyone else but it was very disappointing.
Went there with my son and grandkids. We arrived quite early for dinner as one of the grandkids had a basketball game to play. At first, it seemed like the service was right on target – i.e., we were seated quickly and given menus and water right away. However, once we ordered, it took forever to get our food and we started noticing that people who had arrived after us (we were the first ones to arrive for dinner, so it was easy to know who was after us) were consistently served their food before us. The waitress explained the spice system. Five red peppers being high, one red pepper being low. My son ordered something with 5 peppers, I ordered something with 3 peppers. His was nicely spiced, mine was totally bland – it had NO spicing AT ALL. How disappointing. I would’ve returned it but since we had to go to a basketball game and had no extra time, I ate it. The grandkids both had the D6 – Thai Chinese Connection dinner combo and their Mongolian Beef was so salty it was absolutely not edible. Their butterfly wontons were pretty but came floating in a light-colored sauce and therefore were soggy. I had #317, the Phad See Ew. The wide rice noodles were overcooked and completely fell apart. There were only one or two pieces of broccoli (certainly not like the picture in the menu), instead they filled the plate with cheap cabbage cut in pieces so big, they were nearly the size of a deck of cards. Between the blandness, the falling apart noodle, and basically only cabbage, it was a very unappealing, uninspiring, meal. My son had the Thai style spicy chicken, and it was probably the only good choice out of the four meals we ordered. Attention to details (cutting vegetables in edible sizes, not putting crispy wontons in a sauce to get soggy, adding spices according to requests) would help make this restaurant better. Sadly, it was not a great experience for a once-a-year family get together. I would not return.
Nice setting.. our waitress was super helpful when signing up for loyalty points and just an awesome server! I ordered the ginger salmon.. The food presentation was perfect! and had great flavor. Everything seemed to be cooked to perfection. The dining area is cleaned and Lots of free parking.
Thank you for the fantastic food and excellent service! Josh took great care of my family and we were very happy! The quality and quantity of food was also above my expectations, as was the fun atmosphere in the restuarant. Really worth going! We're so pleased! ?❤
When this new location first opened, everything was great including food and service. We’re members and were frequenting this place regularly. However, our dining experience in November was awful. We waited a very long time before our order was taken, then had to remind the server about our drinks that we’ve been waiting on for at least 20 minutes… food took much longer,it must have been 45 minutes at least before we were served our food. I ordered my regular favorite D6 dinner combo, only to be absolutely disgusted by the Mongolian Beef. It was literally inedible, and tasted like someone soaked it in vinegar. They remade my order but it was still gross, just less vinegary. Our kids complained their Pad Thai was also terrible and had no flavor. We were very shocked at the drastic change in service and food quality. We stopped going there for about 2 months because it was such an aversive experience. We tried again tonight and service was terrible again. The server came to take our drink orders, then left with our menus. We expected her to be back in 5 minutes or so but she did not show up for a while. We sent the kids to the hostess to request for menus again. We were left there sitting for 20 minutes waiting for our drinks and for our orders to be taken. Food was thankfully not awful this time but we did have to wait for nearly an hour for our food to be ready. The food was not as good as it used to be, but at least it was edible this time. The restaurant was half empty, they were not busy but server seemed to be unavailable and nowhere to be found unless she had to bring food out or hand us our $100+ bill. $100+ for our dinner with that level of service is cow dung levelVERY DISAPPOINTED. This place has gone downhill. Food quality is mediocre when it’s not inedible, and service is terrible now. It’s as if they can’t hire or train quality service staff anymore.
Pretty busy and bustling place, I sat in the coconut lounge with my group. The business itself is busy dealing with an overwhelming amount of delivery orders while trying to manage an open restaurant with limited staff. Everyone was very professional and polite, it was hard not to have a good time with good friends and great food.
Phenomenal experience!! Josh was awesome, and deserves a raise. Paid great attention to detail, and did a great job refilling drinks, and making sure we were all happy. Hugely recommended great food!
