Stopped on my way to an event for the evening and was seated quickly. The overall atmosphere of the place is okay, a little cold, or lacking somehow that i cant quiet place my finger on. The waitress was kind and friendly and Attentive. The red dragon roll was very good and the miso soup came out pipping hot! I enjoyed an avacado roll as well however it was strangely tangy? Almost like they soaked the avocado in lemon and it was a bit of a surprise to bite into. Other then that i enjoyed my meal and the price was fair and reasonable along with being comparable to all the other sushi places in spokane. I would definitely come back and bring a friend or two especially as they have more then sushi
Great presentation and flavor. Very fast getting it to the table. Pleasant staff. Casual atmosphere.
The best Sushi I had in Spokane yet! Mind you, I've only been to three sushi places in this city but I'm trying to expand my horizons and crank those numbers up! I did their take-out for Valentine's Day, and I don't believe the rolls we ordered could have been anymore of a brilliant spectacle. If you ever visit, I impore you to try their Seattle rolls, quite possibly my favorite yet, if not ever. Their Volcano rolls has the perfect amount of spice to hurt your tongue. I can't say for certain for the restaurant itself but I will definitely go here again and dine-in in the near future.
This place is very good. The service and preparation of the sushi and the other dishes as well. An instant favorite in Spokane large sushi scene.
This was my first time going here, my daughter wanted sushi for her birthday lunch, as someone who doesn't prefer sushi myself I found this place to be the perfect mix so we could both enjoy our meal! I got the lunchbox which included 4pcs. Of a california roll, which to my surprise, was absolutely delicious! The service was great and fast and the food was tasty! We'll definitely be going back! Highly recommend!
My husband and I tried their take-out for the first time last evening. Best sushi we’ve had in awhile. Bonsai was both our faves. Will return.
If you get sushi you’ll enjoy it, if you get ramen.. well you’ll be overcharged for whatever this is.Overcooked egg and package ramen. 15$
The service was quick and the food was good, staff were nice.Got the Double Red Dragon, Las Vegas, Fresh, and Oasis rolls. Even though I didn't realize it until after we got our food, all our rolls had shrimp tempura in them.No complaints since I think for Spokane, they are my favorite shrimp tempura prepared for sushi. The shrimp was big and the tempura batter was crispy and tasty. I had nothing bad to say about any of the rolls, all were pretty good. I personally recommend the Fresh roll since it comes with this spicy jalapeno sauce that was refreshing.
Great place to eat! You can really tell the chef is passionate about food. After seeing this location become multiple different food venues, I hope this is the one that sticks around. Try the veggie tempura, chicken Osaka, or any of their specialty sushi rolls, delicious!
Literally my favorite place in spokane. I go here every week usually multiple times! all my friends and I love it here the food is AMAZING!! and the servers are beyond nice the whole time :))))
