Cozy and quaint, like its name, the mid-Southhill’s Sushi Blossom’s zen-like atmosphere beckons you to relax and enjoy some of Spokane’s finest artisan-made sushi rolls. I’d recommend getting an appetizer and a beverage while your sushi rolls are being made. We tried several rolls, all were fresh and delicious. You can also sit by the bar where the sushi rolls are made, or seasonal outdoor seating. Service was welcoming and we never felt rushed.
Really lovely little sushi restaurant. I live in north spokane so dont go here often simply due to the distance but when i have the opportunity an on the south hill or have a friend who lives in a different part of town not wanting to go north to my favorite sushi spot i enjoy going here. The parking in this lot is a little funky so be prepared for that and its a smaller location overall so if you hit it when there is a crowd you may have a wait. I really enjoy how unique their rolls are and my favorite is the cherry blossom because of the onion on it. Im honestly not sure why but it makes the roll so amazing. They also have lots of traditional rolls and flavors you would expect plus some of the traditional hot food dishes so it can be a good place to go when you have someone who maybe doesn't want sushi specifically. The size of their rolls are nice, they taste fresh, they have two types of toro as well which is always a pleasant surprise and the chefs selections always come out beautifully. Presentations always good. My only complaint is compared to a majority of the sushi joints im spokane they are significantly more expensive. What normally costs me about 35-40 anywhere else cost me 65 here. Still. Worth that occasional extra splurge and travel for something outside of the ordinary.
Loved everything we've gotten here so far. Very fresh and distinctive flavors. I will say the service was super slow for such a tiny place but they were packed and must have had a ton of to go orders.
First visit tonight, fantastic service and the best sushi in Spokane. We will be back. Thank You!
Best sushi I've had in a long time, maybe ever? Restaurant was a little busy but service was still prompt and polite, and honestly the atmosphere is just happy and cozy. Will definitely be coming back here soon!
Last night my husband decided that we go out to eat but he wanted to try a new place instead of going to somewhere famililar. So myself and husband and my two son's my 3 yr & 4 mo went to a place called Sushi Blossom for dinner. Small restaurant but big flavor! They also offer 10% military discount. My husband and I had gotten the crispy salmon appetizer for our toddler and he devoured it my husband and i barley got a few bites of it. Although the few we had were just divine! Then my husband and I had gotten the Godzilla & Lava ( Baked ) for each other to share and we love the Lava ( Baked ) so much we got it for to-go to take home because the taste was so fresh and delicious. We also got the fish waffle Taiyaki & green tea mochi, i wasn't able to get a photo of our dessert since it was too yummy ? I added the cost amount so yall can get a idea of how much it was and portion size.It costed a total of $71 with a 10% military discount included. We totaled it out at $90 with tip included. Thats with the to go added as well.Money well spent!!! We loved it.
We've been looking for a new sushi place close to home since our old favorite place closed (due to the owner/sushi master retiring). Happened to see some reviews for this joint and thought we'd give it a try. We'd gotten there not too long after they'd opened and they were already busy. Service was prompt and cordial though. We were able to get a table pretty much right away and had ordered within ten minutes of arrival. The shumai was delicious! Our sushi came very quickly for how busy they were. It was definitely appreciated. The rolls were quite tasty and the Starry Night roll in particular was a fun little treat to share. Highly recommend checking out their online menu first, as there's a Lot of options to choose from. All in all a fun experience. We'll be back.
Great food! Tastes fresh. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. Pick up order was 100% accurate. New favorite sushi place
We go here all the time... Great price, wonderful selection of rolls... highly recommend
Good quality for a great price! Portions are generous, especially the rolls. Nigiri are large but not too large. Everything we have had over the course of two visits has been very fresh. Super convenient location on the south hill as well! This is our new go-to sushi spot!
