Ate lunch here on a Wednesday. Arrived right about noon and it was fairly empty. By the time we left, just after 1pm, the place was packed and we know why. Service from Chelsea was awesome and our food was excellent. The bacon wrapped jalapeños were amazing! They have a really cute patio. Unfortunately, it wasn’t open for the season yet. Would love to go back and sit on the patio.

Great food, awesome service. Usually a short wait to get in but it’s worth it. I stop here every time I’m on the south hill in Spokane. I had the fish & chips; they came out hot and juicy, the grilled lemon was an unexpected bonus. The girls had the wraps & loved them; sweet potato fries were tender and flavorful. The presentation was top notch.

I got The Godzilla Roll, Two California rolls and the Two Eel pieces and it was Amazing. the Godzilla roll was definitely my favorite with shrimp, avocado, eel and eel sauce. They also Plated my food really creatively. You have to try the sushi when you come Here!

Wonderful food! So many gluten free options! I had the pork and apples! It was sooo good! I highly recommend this place its fantastic! Thanks Dalila for the wonderful service! ❤

Nestled in the heart of Spokane’s Lincoln Heights area you’ll find the South Hill Grill dishing up delightful food. The “pork and apples with loaded mashed potatoes with a side of tomato basil soup” was divine. And the “29th Ave burger with sweet potato fries” was delicious. Booths are comfortable, and table seating is cozy. We arrived at 5pm on a Monday and there was one table open - so arrive early. Late spring to early fall, outdoor seating is available. Service is very friendly and efficient. The menu changes with new additions like “sushi”, and old favorites like “chicken pot pie” are available. Best of all you are very likely to have an enjoyable meal and leave full and happy.

This place is amazing. I don't really want to say how amazing because the wait is already kinda long. But the food is great and it amazing on the choices. I wish this place the best.

I met some friends at the SHG for a late lunch and the place was packed, that's a good sign! Great menu selection for anyone who walks through the door and GF options were needed for a friend. For the "something besides water," try the Maker's Mark Mule it won't disappoint. The Tomato Basil soup with pesto was a hit. I ordered the Poppin' Jalapeño Burger with fries, sounds plain, I know, but I have to try an establishment's tarter sauce. If you like a thick pickly tarter it measures up. The burger was a medium monster that filled me up. The bacon wrapped, cheese filled jalapeño on the top of the bun was excellent! My friends enjoy the meals as well. The service was a bit slow, but the wait staff was hustling, it's what you expect when a place is slammed. The waitress had a great sense of humor. I appreciated her hard work for all the tables she had and you could tell she was in her element. Well done!

Second trip to South Hill Grill (SHG) for me. South Hill Grill is a cozy (smallish) bistro? on the south hill (obviously ) in Spokane. Intersection of 29th and Regalish, if memory is served. Let’s start with the service. Perfect. Easter morning was busy in the early am, but the professional staff kept the tables occupied , and the small waiting area flowing. Out server was very engaging and in-tune with the timing of our socializing and food arrival. We were lamenting (lent?) that we had to drive home (2 hr+) after breakfast/brunch and couldn’t enjoy a bloody mary or two that we remembered from previous visits as being superb. Eggs Benedict were ordered by 3/4 of us, chicken fried steak by the fourth. The SHG was accommodating to the tomato/spinach/biscuit substitution due to allergies, and we were appreciative to that. The food was really good and freshly prepared. Overall, we had a very nice Easter breakfast. My advice would be for most visits would to be to target non-peak dining times, as it it a relatively small but well thought out foodie experience. If we lived in Spokane we would regularly visit the SHG for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Daughters and I had a great lunch experience here . Food was delicious. Great presentation. Servers are friendly. Drinks were tasty. Not to mention sushi Thursday is discounted.. Got to love a savings. Can't wait to go back try a different food adventure. Yes yes yes I'd would strongly recommend...

I didn't get any pics, but we had such a great experience! Our food was delicious, and the service was top notch, even though it's a smaller establishment, and it was super busy at 7:30 on a random Thursday. There was an estimated wait time of 25 minutes, so we cruised over to Petco and I think it was actually less than 25 minutes before they called us to say they had an open table. For a place that doesn't take reservations, it worked out really well. It was our first time eating here, and we were all impressed. Our kids were feeling like sushi, and I was wanting something else, so it seemed like a win for all. They cover all the bases here, and they do it WELL. Between us, we got the calamari app, the Seattle Roll, TNT Roll, California Roll, and the White Cheddar Pasta, one with shrimp and one with chicken. The flavored lemonade, one spiked, was a big hit with our crew. I had a selection off their wine list, a red blend, and it was good. I think the atmosphere was what really made it though. Very good vibe. Will definitely go back! Thanks again to the awesome staff!
