A nice surprise. A small friendly family owned restaurant with a self serve counter. A different variety of soups served daily with options of fresh breads and salads. The lunch was very good and truly fresh. A great place to try when in the heart of downtown Spokane
Several soups on offer, several gluten-free. All delicious, using herbs more than salt. Reasonable prices. They also have limited salad and sandwich options. It's a small place with a small menu.
Walked in because there was a sign about Long Island Ice Teas! Came inside because the staff looked friendly. Delicious soup and the sandwiches were made fresh to order. Well done guys!
Nice find downtown. Quick, simple menu with great tasting food. Their beer bread is amazing, I'd buy it by the loaf if I could eat it all in time.
The BEST broccoli and cheddar soup I’ve ever had. I will say, the texture caught me off guard (it’s thick, like a baby food texture), but I was easily able to get past that with the deliciousness in my bowl. The beer bread is delish too ? the lady in front of my had a croissant sandwich and now I can’t wait to go back to try that and more soup!
The amazing food and vibrant flavors. The prices are very good as well despite current events. Had corn and bacon chowder, tomato basil soup, and potato garlic soup along with beer bread each. We loved each and every bite. Can't recommend enough. Definitely worth the trip from CDA!
I have been searching for a place that specialized in soups and somehow had never been here. They have a pleasant environment, their employees were following safety standards, and the soup was delicious! They also make their own bread, which is also yummy. I have yet ti try the spirits side, but you bet I'll be back.
Our favorite place to eat during winter here in the inland northwest. AMAZING SOUP, AMAZING BEER BREAD, AMAZING EMPLOYEES, everything is amazing. I decided to post a review because I was angry that they only had 4.7 stars!
It's a different place than it used to be. You used to get table service, but now you walk up to the counter while the staff stares at you awkwardly. Nobody greeted me or explained that I was to seat myself. I planned on ordering a drink, but there is no drink menu to be found, and it's too dimly lit in there to see the alcohol selection... Some staff members wear a mask, some don't. It's bizarre. The soup and bread are genuinely good, but the service and atmosphere are lackluster. The bowls are also the worst possible choice. They are in some kind of floral arrangement that does not allow you to use a spoon on the edges. Really the worst choice you can make for a soup place. Not worth the commute or finding a parking spot, I'd recommend take out but it was pretty spendy for the amount of soup you get.
Delicious and inexpensive!! This has been the best downtown eatery I've encountered. While spending a week working at the FICA building we were left to fend for ourselves at lunch. This restaurant was on our hot list. The soups are amazing but the bread is to die for!! You can get a bowl of soup, salad, bread and iced tea for just over $10. It fills you up yet the flavors leave you wanting more. It's a must if you're in the area.
