I am from Arkansas, I’m here in ur lovely state of Washington. I stumble across this little place Called Shamus’ Sandwiches which is the Best sandwich shop I have come across in a while, everything about this place is Awesome the owner very friendly, his workers are extremely friendly and will tell you what their favorite sandwich is and u pick. You will not go wrong with what you pick it is all great.
I love a good sandwich shop, and I hunt them down whenever I am visiting a new place. Shamus's Sandwich Shoppe did not disappoint. Super simple menu for quick and efficient ordering. By the time we sat down with our drinks our food was put in front of us. Thick and tasty fresh bread, paired with crisp veggies, quality meats, and cheeses. If you're looking for a sandwich that will get you through the rest of your day and into the night, this is the place. A cozy joint to watch a game, drink a beer, or grab a quick bite. I was amazed at how fast the service was. Shamus could teach a master's class on efficiency in the foodservice industry. I would eat here on a regular basis if I lived in Spokane
Hear allot about this place and I have friends who like it here however....for me, the Shamu favorite and Italian sandwiches were not so good. Things seemed flavorless and the Italian was stacked with plenty of processed meat......the flavor was the Italian salad dressing they put in it. One round piece of salami and two small pepperoni's apparently is what made this sandwich Italian.Not for me but you have to try things for yourself. Maybe you'll agree or maybe you'll love it like some of my friends.
Six of us retired combat Veterans were coming in to take the rebeun challenge, since we are from Boston, Chicago, and Cleveland - we know what is an exceptional reuben.We saw the comments about lack of masks, so we figured we would run as a drive through or take away. Once Matt pulled up the website for directions.Then we saw the owner's comments. Your sandwiches are not worth the risks to the six families of the employees. A restaurant owner who does not care for public health or public safety? Who mocks customers for stating simple facts and demands the customer never return?Very effective marketing...I wonder what food preparation safety, kitchen sanitation, hygiene, and food service health standards this owner demands his employees to ignore? Literally, hundreds to thousands of dollars in sales lost due to the owner's crass apathy. Negative comments from people in responsible positions have consequences. If this was a franchise, i know which owner would be leveraged out .The ignorance is only outdown by the arrogance of the owner.My condolences to the employees.BTW, do not bother with a hasty response as folks who are retired combat Veterans rarely care what selfish, single-minded 'public servants' say after they have shown their true side. Too many other viable choices and karma catches up with those who are so careless regarding others.Carry On. (That would be our advice to potential customers.)?
My husband really likes this place, I thought it was just so-so; but them again I am not a fan of cold sandwiches. I can make a better one for myself at home, more suited to my own particular tastes, and for a lot less. So, I am not the best judge.
One of my go-to sando shops! Their prices are amazing, and their customer service is even more amazing!
Just ok. My boyfriend and I are driving across country and were looking for something other than the typical fast food. We both ordered the Rocky’s Italian Stallion, which was really a ham sandwich with a little bit of salami and pepperoni. The chips that come with the sandwiches are also really salty. The bread was good though. And the price was pretty inexpensive so I guess you get what you pay for.
Ordered a small Rancher- twice the size I expected. Excellent sandwich. Big bang for your buck! Pickle was delicious too! Earned 2 new customers!!
I'm just going on a gut feeling that they have some great sandwiches I did go ther I was there in the area for some thing els so there we have it.
