I went there with about 20 people during a training class. Great selection of sandwiches. Before I even got my drink cup my sandwich was waiting for me at the end of the counter. Wow! That's what I call excellent service. The bread is freshly made daily and I would love to try it as toast, it's thick. Look at the pictures. I can't wait to go back. They are reasonably priced also. Around 10 bucks. This is the smokehouse. Smoked ham, bacon and Gouda cheese.
I love a good sandwich shop, and I hunt them down whenever I am visiting a new place. Shamus's Sandwich Shoppe did not disappoint. Super simple menu for quick and efficient ordering. By the time we sat down with our drinks our food was put in front of us. Thick and tasty fresh bread, paired with crisp veggies, quality meats, and cheeses. If you're looking for a sandwich that will get you through the rest of your day and into the night, this is the place. A cozy joint to watch a game, drink a beer, or grab a quick bite. I was amazed at how fast the service was. Shamus could teach a master's class on efficiency in the foodservice industry. I would eat here on a regular basis if I lived in Spokane
Arrive and ordered and before we were completely sat the sandwiches were ready. They are large. So if you're not real hungry order 1/2.Quite popular.SmallGood time to go is 1pm. It still may be a little busy but worth it.
Stopped here on our way to Missoula MT for lunch. The service was very fast and the staff was pretty friendly. The sandwiches had a TON of meat on them, but the bread was a little thick for our taste. I loved the pickles though, amazing crunch!One of the biggest disappointments was the fact that not one staff member was wearing a mask. They have a sign next to each door telling people to wear their masks, but the staff doesn't even follow the state mandate. As a nurse who's worked through the whole pandemic, this feels like a slap to the face and all the people who have died and lost so much.

For anyone liking Italian Sandwiches, this is a must have.Their service is friendly and fast and the atmosphere is great. Their sandwiches are delicious and reasonably priced. I have been to Shamus's many times. All of the components on the sandwich are very fresh. The staff are always friendly, and the sandwiches are prepared at lightning speed. The sandwiches are so big that my wife and I have to share one.

I finally tried this place after driving past it for years, always thinking I'd stop one day. I wish I'd tried it sooner because it's great!] HUGE, delicious sandwiches at a great price. They come in small or for $2 more a large, the difference being double the meat and cheese on the large. I ordered a small and it was more than filling. It came in a large clamshell container with chips and a pickle spear, and it fed 2 of us easily. Definitely recommend this place for lunch any time.
