LOVE IT! It is so nice to be able to eat anything on the menu and everything is SO GOOD. I can't say enough how much I love this restaurant. I've tried many things on their menu and everything has been delicious. Even my carnivore husband loves their food! The ambiance is also really nice and the staff is great. There is typically a bit of a wait but you can walk around the grocery store next door and it is completely worth the wait!

Really wanted to like this place, one of the only vegan friendly options in Spokane. Ordered the dirty truffle fries and they were amazing ( no pic due to them being gone so fast) as well as the Birria jackfruit tacos with consume (only get two small tacos though). Also ordered the lemongrass yellow curry the radishes were too over powering and you couldn't taste the curry(small portion of rice and only 4 pieces of tofu)@. The truffle Mac and cheese was bland and not cheesey/flavorful. The jerk wrap was okay it had minimal meat and wasn't seasoned well there was very little jerk seasoning used, mostly mango and slaw. The whiskey sour I had tasted like cheap beer idk why, possibly because it was room temp and had a lot of foam from the aquafabaso much so that there was hardly any drink in the tiny glass.

Delicious, most if not all of the menu sounded amazing. Pomegranate limeade is top notch, my bf love love loves the not-chicken sandwich.(If you get take out ask for utensils if needed, I ate my bokchoy bowl with no fork ?)

Tried out 3 dishes here. The Thai ginger cauliflower wings were well seasoned, but not repeat worthy. The Jackfruit tacos were delicious but too oily because of excess salsa macha. The vegan chicken wrap was outstanding I would definitely repeat it. It used tamarind sauce, cilantro and Caribbean spices, and ended up tasting like an Indian Frankie roll. All the ingredients from the wrap, cabbage to crispy chicken were high quality, fresh and impeccably prepared.

Rut has become my favorite plant based restaurant. The ambience is chill and Modern. I had the best cocktails called The Poet and Tell me something good. All my food was SO DELICIOUS. I had the Marsala, Buffalo cauliflower wings and Sicilian Sunset Tart. And the service was amazing! I can feel the passion and enthusiasm radiating from the owner (I am assuming she was the owner) when she talked about the cocktails. I find it amazing that so much thought was put into making the drinks. I will always remember this place will return the next time I'm in town.

Always a pleasure coming here! They made my birthday extra special. For a 21st birthday it was exactly what I was looking for. All of my friends (even non vegan ones) enjoyed their meals and the drinks were very good! Servers were also very polite and helpful. Thank you again for making my birthday special!! Cant wait to come back soon

This is the best restaurant in Spokane, and I've gone to ? ??? of restaurants here. My friends know I'm a pretty harsh critic when it comes to food. I've been vegan for years and I'm passionate about cooking; there are so many vegan dishes offered at other restaurants in Spokane where you can tell not much thought or creativity has been put into them, and they're overpriced nonetheless. I've been going to Rut since they opened, and they've consistently served great food while also offering unique dishes that you can't find elsewhere in Spokane (vegan or not).I've never gone to a restaurant and been excited to order a salad, but their salads are just great. They also previously served a brownie and ice cream dessert that I loved. That and their lemongrass bahn mi that I miss. I generally don't enjoy the alcoholic offerings at restaurants, but I love their drinks. My favorite so far is the Cucumber Blossom. Drinking here makes me want to learn more about mixology. The one criticism I'll offer is I've never been a fan of their pasta dishes, they just seem bland and mediocre compared to other offerings on the menu. Other than those, I'd recommend almost any dish on the menu!

Super delicious! Got take out here while passing through Spokane on a road trip. The food was amazing and the service was super fast, friendly and convenient. Will definitely be stopping again the next time I'm in Spokane!

The food and drinks are delicious. The brats and potato dish with mustard seeds was filling and tasty, lots of flavor. The drinks are generously sized and flavorful. We ordered the vegan cherry cheesecake and house-made ice cream based on the waiter's recommendation. The cheesecake was decent and large, but I liked the ice cream better just because I can make a better vegan cheesecake and I was too stuffed to finish it.

So I live in Post Falls, but have no problem driving 30 minutes to this place. The food is SO delicious and VERY consistent. I don’t eat out at most restaurants due to the lack of quality and care that noticeably goes into their menus. I know with pure confidence that the cooks at Rut genuinely care about the quality of what they put out. The menu is so creative and nothing from Spokane to CDA compares. Truly a gem this place, and I’m forever thankful that a quality vegan restaurant exists in this very boring restaurant market. Also, Much love to the amazing service this place provides, every time.
