Excellent food. Excellent service. Great decor and dining experience. Next to our Hilton this restaurant surpassed expectations. Everything was great and most of all the service was top shelf. Had a variety of items including food and beverage - all great. Highly recommend for singles, couples and families.
We stopped here for dinner on May 14th, 2022 at around 6pm. The wait for a table for 2 was 40 minutes, to be expected on a Saturday night, but we found a table in the bar right away.I had the 16 oz. 45 Day Aged Ribeye ($45) and my wife had the 8 oz. Lodge Surf and Turf ($38); both were cooked perfectly and were excellent.The menu is somewhat small, but along with the shrimp and steak, features bison, elk, chicken, and fish.I highly recommend this place, as the food was good, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
So my in laws we're in town and wanted to take them somewhere for dessert. And we decided to go here. We ended up having an appetizer of the cheese stuffed elk balls. And each person pretty much Got one item off the dessert menu. All the desserts were amazing, I just never got a picture of them, They were gone that quick. Friendly staff and a great warm environment. I highly recommend this place. It's a little pricey but totally worth it for the experience you get.
Rusty Moose is a quaint restaurant with delicious appetizers and wood stone flat breads. McKenzie our waitress was friendly and efficient. Delicious prime rib served with a smile.
We made reservations for 7pm on a Monday night and sat right down. We had great service with water refills, order taken quickly and the food arrived not too long after.As a family we all tried, mango fish tacos, the elk burger, a steak, and a Santa Fe chicken salad.Our food was good, it was a little more money than we would like to spend, but it was a great atmosphere and amazing service.
Sirloin w/scampi and prime rib were outstanding! Best steak ive had in a long time. Had a drink called a Northwest Buck - bourbon, strawberry, jalapeno, and house-made ginger beer. It could've been sweet, but it was just right, not hot but I could taste the jalapeno flavor just enough and a little snap from the ginger. It's my new favorite drink. Can't wait to go back and try the mango fish tacos and the raspberry donut cheesecake - and so many others! Maya was our hostess - cute and so cheery! Thanks!
I have been coming here for years and the food and service are always consistent. Not anymore. I had the prime rib dip which was dried out, tasteless, and very old. Terrible. The only saving grace was the excellent fry sauce. I sat at the bar and it had maybe one or two customers and the service was terrible. The bartender was too busy having conversations with other staff to be bothered with me.
This was my first time at Rusty Moose. Very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and very attentive. A++++
This is was our second time at the Rusty Moose and it won't be our last. We both had the bison burger and steak fries. The burger was so flavorful and juicy. The steak fries had a dipping sauce that was so good. It had just the right amount of spice and flavor. There are some elk and bison options on the menu but we didn't try but that just means we need to go back - and we will! The wait staff and everyone was very friendly and did a great job. The atmosphere is like a mountain lodge. We loved the way it was decorated.
