Netter service than most, johnna was very sweet food tasted good and stronger drinks a bit pricy but it was fun overall.. also, they do seem to have young waitresses there trying to look cute for tips they literally paid o attention to me and my girlfriend I rate johnna 5 stars the food 3 stars because my calzone did not have pepperoni it was Canadian bacon and though I don't care some people do usually over religion I let the waitress johnna know she asked if I wanted them to remake it I said Bo I don't care at all its still delicious! Qnd she still gave me a discount! Without me even asking she went above qnd beyond for sure
This restaurant is such a chaotic mess. The employees looks tired... get some better management. Especially upfront. Not impressed. Food was great though.Wouldn't want to see this place fall through the cracks.
I was really excited to eat here saw the other reviews and the pasta looked decent, ordered it one time to go and ate it in my car. Absolutely terrible I got the alfredo and it was like eating milk sauce pasta. No flavor! I had to add salt, pepper and some parmesean packets I had from a previous lunch just to make it edible. The pasta was overcooked. Same thing when I dined in. I hate to say it but you can find better tasting alfredo sauce in JARS on a shelf for $3 ?? ruined coming back to this place again unfortunately. Don't have it on the menu if you can't make it worth eating.
Looks promising but disappointing. Ordered takeout and spent $80 for 4 meals. Indifferent food quality and service. The tuxedo pasta was missing from the order and I didn’t realize it until I got home, the 2 beyond burgers showed up with only bread and patty, no condiments veggies or other additions you would expect. The penne pasta was bland and without any special sauce. It took 20 minutes for them to answer the phone and ask for a credit on the missing meal.Several better restaurant choices on Southill for the same or lower prices with higher quality food.
The food took a little longer than expected to make it to the table, but, the place looked understaffed and the kitchen was swamped with online and pick up orders. But once it got to the table, WELL worth the wait. DELICIOUS!!!
Greek chicken pasta was good ? but my rueben was hands down my worst experience of a sandwich and quality control I have had in awhile. The corned beef was cooked and charres to rubber while also lacking in a decent portion the bottom bread was compleltly soggy and the tip was as hard as a rock meaning it sat under the heat lamp without being remade for way to long... probably will not order from here again but not bad pricing
The food was yummy, but the food was pretty expensive. Just salads themselves are $12-$20.(Edit to respond to the response. Although they are entree salads they are still expensive compared to other restaurants on south hill's salads. Also additionally I got the Chicken Caeser Salad which costs $15.50 at Rock City Grill. Initially had three stars for the restaurant, but reduced it to two stars because of patronizing response.)Mackenzie RiverCobb Salad - $10.50Caesar Salad - $7.50Southwest Chop (Chicken) - $10.00South Hill GrillGrilled Chicken Salad - $13Chopped Chicken Salad - $13SHG Salad (Salmon) - $12Hogan'sCaesar Salad - $ 12.49Chef - $12.49FerrantesChop Salad - $12.50Smoked Salmon Salad - $15.00Greek Chicken Breast Salad - $13.50
The ceasar salad with salmon was delish
Slow service, food took almost 45 minutes to come out, our cups were empty for the majority of time. At the end our check took close to 30 minutes to get to us when our plates were empty, stacked and we made it very clear we were finished. Altogether a disappointing first time. The food was really good though.
Food was tasty and atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Love that all staff were adhering to the current COVID mask mandates and so were all customers.
