We were seated in Remington's with a couple of menus. After about 15-20 minutes we realized no one was coming to our table to serve us (It was a Friday night, probably 20 people in the restaurant, just short-staffed I guess). We left and went next door to Bar 509. Great service immediately by the bar staff. Carol was our server and was the best. She was in a great mood and likes her role here! The food was good too. I highly recommend but be sure to get CAROL!
After a long day of travelling it was wonderful to have such a friendly smile in an unfamiliar town!

Don't miss the opportunity to make the very short walk across the street from the Spokane airport to try this gem. Chances are you showed up early and hungry to the airport only to realize you could make it through security in 5 minutes only to find some lackluster airport fare -or- you could take a beat and stroll on over to Remington's for a substantial meal at a fraction of the cost. I had the sirloin steak and for less than $25 you can't go wrong, especially with a garden salad, loaded baked potato and seasonal vegetables.
Like watching a slow motion train wreck. After an hour and 10 minutes I got my appetizers in a restaurant that was almost empty. The apps, were okay and not worth the wait, I had two of the veggie ones. Not sure why it took that long but very disappointing. The bartender/waitress got no help from the other two people working and it must have been her first day cause she didn't really know how to do either job (not a criticism of her but her manager who want training anyone).
Bar 509 at the Spokane airport had one couple at one table when we walked in. We had a 2 year old with us and had to be at the airport in 90 minutes. We ordered BLTs and waited for over an hour for our food! Waitress never checked to see if we needed soda refills. And then it took a full 20 minutes to pay the bill. Never going back!!!!!!
Friendly people. Food was fine, if nothing special. I could've done without the '80's music, but whatever.
We had drinks & a meal at Bar509 on 4/30/2022 before flying out of the airport. Food was pretty good for an airport bar. I had pulled pork; my husband had wings. Carol was our server. She was so friendly & took good care of us. She was busy, too, but never seemed harried or flustered. She took care of everyone in a timely, polite, efficient manner.
Happy Hour offers some drink specials. Staff is very friendly. I had the veggie/bean burger which was very good and a large sized "burger". Ordered side salad which was also a decent size. If staying at hotel waiting for a flight, I could eat there again.
After looking at job postings and commenting and being told that they openly WILL NEVER pay servers more than minimum wage because they can get tips! Pretty disgusting.that as a business telling employees to rely on tips to make up for your wages while your business makes million.
