Party of 3.We each picked one dish with the intention of sharing- ordered fish, pork, and chicken.Fish was ok.Pork was so salty no one could eat it.Chicken had a funny taste so no one ate it.Waitress didn't seem to care that we weren't happy with the food.
Love this restaurant, we've been coming here for years
This place has caught my attention! You must try out the homemade dishes on the special menu. I like how big the place is since you get to pick your own seats! Service has considerably slowed down. Be sure to order in advance if you are in a hurry to get somewhere. The JD lounge next door sells great drinks and has a large selection of songs on the Karaoke!
Always good food, nice service & the prices are fair. Good for lunch or dinner, small group or a few friends. Great place for a family too!
Another love/hate resto for Chinese in our metro for reviewers. We've always liked it, and in the past would've recommended this place just for their potstickers, alone. But those beauties have been replaced by an FSA/Sysco product, sadly. On a very positive note, these guys are one of the few Asian joints that has a secret menu for more 'coastal' options. That said, I went for the half-duck. My circadian rhythm needs duck every few months, even though good options in our area are limited. Their's was okay. I know darned well it was a pre-cooked product, but was satisfying to me under the circumstances. And hey....my half-duck had 3 legs! I'll take it, haha. Wifey's combo meal was well prepared, and I picked at it because my duck did not come with obligatory rice this time. Oh well. I will definitely be ordering off the secret menu next time...
Went on a Saturday around 5:30 not very busy didn't have wait to be seated. Food was good. Waitress was nice.
Husband and I shared #8! We sat in the bar. Good food and our bartender was friendly!
We came to have Christmas dinner. When our food was served the garlic shrimp was cold. We returned it and the waitress mentioned she would have to pay for the dish. We went to the owner who pushed us to the manager. The owner makes the wait staff pay for returned dishes. We will not return. The other two dishes we ordered were ok. We got a beef chow mien which was super tasty and a sweet and sour pork. The sweet and sour sauce was brown and didn't have any pineapple or red bell pepper, which is what I'm used to. The sauce tasted slightly metallic, as though it came directly from a can and was just heated up. We didn't complain about that because it was a very slight "off" taste and it was piping hot. We got the rice about 30 minutes after the rest of our meal so it was over all underwhelming. The very idea that the owner placed the kitchen's mess up on the server is appalling. All we wanted was the garlic shrimp remov d from our bill. We totally expected to pay for the rest of our meal but the manager comp'ed the meal entirely. We still will not return and I'm sure the owner doesn't want us to return. She is a horrible person, in my opinion, based on the information our server gave us.
The hot and sour soup wonderful. The server was very busy but always friendly and didn’t act rushed. I won’t be going back, however. My chicken dish tasted burned and not spicy. There were plentyof hot peppers but they were black-burned, and only gave a burned flavor to the dish. My sister’s orange chicken looked like mandarin orange cobbler. My sister said it tasted like no orange chicken she has ever had. She didn’t finish it. We used to love this restaurant but it’s off our list.
We weren't very adventurous tonight. Ordered #4 & #9. Both were really good. I choose #9, special chow mein because it is served on soft noodles. It was very tasty I would order that again. Egg flower soup was served hot and tasty. Almond chicken was quite crusty which was a little bit different than I expected.
