The service 5 stars. The food 5 stars. The atmosphere 5 stars. This is been a best experience I have had in a restaurant in Spokane my entire life. After this experience my Friday night date with my Wife will be here.
Excellent, fri staff. Food selections are good and very tasty.
We had our pre show dinner here before seeing a musical at the center for the arts. It was such a treat. The historic Davenport is so ornate. It was not only a culinary feast but a feast for the senses as well. Server was wonderful! Also they validate parking if you park in hotel garage across the street. Loved it. Family got salmon, halibut, steak and berry salad with fresh chicken breast. So wonderful.
Our waiter was delightful and great at his job. He made sure that we had a great time, good food and enjoyed our time together in the best setting in Spokane.
Food was horrible!! Over cooked salmon and crab cakes tasted precooked and frozen not fresh at all.
Our dinner at Palm Court Grill last night was a disappointing experience in terms of quality, presentation, and service. Our first round of water was luke warm without ice. I ordered a salad with prawns. The salad was on such a tiny plate that lettuce was falling off the edges when the waiter placed it on the table. Each effort to spear a bite from the over-filled plate pushed food onto the table. The crab cakes were almost doughy - like crab in undercooked batter. The ribeye was good, but the Caesar salad was overwhelmed with a ridiculously thick layer of parmesan. We ordered one moose and a creme Brule. The waiter brought an extra moose. I told him I hadn't ordered it and he said "it's a presumptive upsell" and left it on the table and charged me for it. It was delicious, but I was too full and only ate a bite -which is why I hadn't ordered it. I was surprised to see I was charged for it. My last three visits to Palm Court Grill have been disappointing in terms of service. Is there no training and quality control with staff? The setting in the Davenport is so beautiful, but I can't imagine why management isn't providing a quality dining experience, especially considering the relatively high cost of the meal.
We enjoyed a very good meal, halibut and rice with broccoli. The coconut shrimp appetizer was excellent. We will definitely be back.
Another amazing dinner at the Historic Davenport Palm Court. The strawberry salad also had fresh greens, orange segments, black berries and raspberries along with toasted almond slivers. And that was just the first course!
Our server, Hannah Arnold, was amazing! We had a wonderful experience at the Palm Court Grille!
Great food and set in an amazing restored Gilded age hotel......its wonderful.
