Stopped into this cute little sushi place tucked into the corner of garland and monroe street, the place is quaint all be it a bit on the small end of things but very friendly staff definitely gives off that hole in the wall style vibe. I've stopped here previously and really enjoyed it so stopped again just for a quick bowl of miso soup and it is really delicious and comes out super hot but managable here.the wait staff is fast and attentive but the food does not come out at a reasonable speed overall. They have really cheap lunch specials but their full dinner menu is really unique and they probably have some of the most "different" rolls in spokane, which can be a nice little change of pace from the same old same old. They have a small variety of non-sushi style dishes as well and that is nice for those that are not fish lovers! Will definitely come back again as i try to always try a place several times.

I haven't been everywhere, but this is my favorite sushi restaurant I've tried in Spokane so far. The service is always pleasant, the process are decent, and the sushi is wonderful. My son always wants the Monkey Brains, but never eats them because he can't handle much spice (they're really not that spicy). No complaints, though, because then there's more for me! The rainbow roll is another favorite. We also got a tiger roll, and a best friend roll. All delicious! The only thing I don't love about Midori is that they serve soda in cans. Please, please, please, get a soda fountain!

Food was excellent, and well priced. However the experience was so awful that I can't in good conscience give it higher than a two. First of all, the atmosphere is that of an old faded boat with no maintenance in years. There aren't even chairs at some tables, instead metal folding chairs. There was one waitress, black hair, for the whole restaurant, she was overwhelmed. There was another waitress, red hair, who did nothing but walk around waiting for her to go order. The black hair waitress threw the menus on the table, left it wet, and later on spilled water on me then walked away. The owners who are the only people making the food never stopped to help her or tell her to stop sitting people down. Then came the one hour of no one checking in us, not even our miso soups until we had to remind the black hair waitress. My partners food came quickly after and mine 15 minutes later. Overall only worth it as take out.

Went here for dinner and was surprised to learn that the table next to me had orders that didn't come out at all. The waitress was quick paced, so maybe an error in the kitchen? Probably. However, the venue was about 15% capacity. There was a large arrival of To-Go orders. My food was interesting.Chicken Karaage looked like popcorn chicken. Seriously. See the photos attached. It was hilarious. The sushi rolls were ok, but nothing spectacular. Would I come here again for "Japanese" food? Probably not. Food was ok. Service was good; however, there was a good amount of dissatisfied customers dining in (and they stated such loudly) on certain ordered dishes not arriving at all.Parking is very limited as the venue shares their lot with an adjacent bar.

This place was awesome. I ordered the beef teriyaki bento box and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Came with perfect rice and a California roll. My wife was delighted with the spicy tuna. Great spot!

GOOGLE MIS-CLASSIFIED. THIS IS NOT A "TRADITIONAL RESTAURANT" IT'S A SUSHI AND TERIYAKI RESTAURANT. Decor and style make a nice effort, but it's still structurally a former 7-11 building. Cold wind blew in every time a customer entered the (original direct outside) front door.Great food. Wide selection, with lunch specials. Excellent service. Small dining rooms.

Small restaurant but worth the wait . We had some appetizers, got the deal that has you to pick three non specialty rolls, we chose the best friend, hypnotic and bed of pearls pearls, we also got the smoked drain specialty rolls . We had left overs.

Amazing place! Love the sushi rolls, both the visual and taste are phenomenal. I tried the midori combo where you can try three different roles for a great deal. Workers were very friendly as well. Would highly recommend :)

Got 3 sushi rolls and an appetizer. Sushi was 4/10 and make us both sick the second we got done eating. We have ate at almost every sushi place in Spokane and this is definitely on the bottom of the list.

the best restaurant we've eaten so far in Spokane. Everything was delicious and very fresh. The service is perfect, everyone is very friendly and attentive. My husband and I love it and are already sharing it with our friends.
