The staff are friendly and the decor is very bright and warm. I like the faux skylight. It's gives a patio feeling to this indoor venue. The food is great and they can make more than margaritas. One of my favorite authentic Mexican restaurants in Spokane.
Best Mexican restaurant in Spokane! The food is amazing. They have a great alcohol and nonalcoholic drink menu. Dessert menu is to drool over. But the food overall is amazing! Highly recommend the tortilla soup! The service was warm and welcoming!Definitely a staple and a must try.
This is our favorite Mexican food on the south hill. Food is good and service is always excellent!
Two baskets of tortilla chips is an automatic five stars in my book. Great food, service was a little slow on weekend morning.
1st visit was a takeout for a large group. Ordering & picking up was fast but I should have checked order before I left! Everything but my chicken fajita was there. Didn’t want to make another trip back because we had family visiting from Colorado. Service and food was good but I paid $18.95 for beans & rice. Plus I left a $15 tip! Check order before leaving :(
We got everything to go and we really enjoyed our food! The dishes are not overly greasy or cheese-laden. They each have their own flavor which is wonderful! I especially liked the Enchiladas Espinaca. I occasionally choose a vegetarian meal and this was very good--excellent salsa verde. Others had combination plates and they especially liked the steak tacos. We all had leftovers which we always enjoy as well! Good food and good service.
This fabulous family run restaurant is all aces. Great food, specials and drinks. Fresh made Mexican with huge portions, fresh chips n salsa and a great family atmosphere. Try it out!
Close to where I live and I love to support local places. I tried them for lunch and ordered a pollo tostada along with whole, 'ranch' beans and their rice. Pretty flavorless all. The beans had nothing going on, the chicken on the tostada was pulled chicken, not grilled or special in any way. The rice was bland and nothing positive to report either. A very pedestrian meal. Thank goodness I had extra salsa to pour over the whole thing.
Ordered the Fajita burrito and salsa / chips. The burrito was super bland! I was genuinely surprised. Salsa had a teeny bit of flavor. I know a fajita burrito isn't traditional Mexican food at all but I was hoping for some fajita flavor. The chicken almost resembled chicken you get out of a bag, rubbery / chewy.
We love Maracas! My husband and I have been going for years now! And we haven’t once had a bad experience or bad food! All the plates we have tried have been delicious! And the staff are so kind and such hard workers! We come from AZ so finding good Authentic dishes is hard up north and they nail it!
