I moved here from Texas about 10 years ago and was really hopeful for this place, but it was ultimately a major disappointment. They do genuinely smoke their meat, so I'm at a loss on how everything we ordered was dry. The sauce is okay, I've had better from kraft. We went in at about 2pm, there was one other table of folks besides us. The waitress spent the majority of her time chatting with them, which is fine, but only when you've tended to other tables. We had to wait to put in a drink order, then wait to put in our food order, then looked at our plates sitting in the window for more than 5 minutes while she continued to chat. I had to get my family refills for their drinks all but once. That was the only time she would come to our table, when I got up to get our drinks. Definitely don't recommend this place if you're looking for a genuine Texas BBQ experience. Flavor isn't there and neither is the service. I'd suggest they either train their staff better, or change to cafeteria style.
Awesone place to have a sandwhich, buffet, or a regular meal.Place has that down home country feel and it shows in the building, service, and price...all were great!Loved the pecan pie as well...but i believe the buffet is what rocks this place!Service was awesome, nice friendly staff and a very comfortable setting.Will enjoy this one again and again.Highly reccomend... :)
Great place. Food was well-cooked, and everything tasted great.I plan to go back and buy a half-dozen of their cornbread muffins. They were that good!Service was excellent, ambiance was very peaceful.
Have family in town and called to see about the all you can eat. Got there and told the 15 to 20 minutes which was fine. Got there a bit before 7pm buffet ending at 8pm. The sweet host kept asking if she could seat us but was told no. We didn’t need full service and it was just disappointing. The manager came out a a few times and overheard her mentioning that a server had just been getting all the tables. Just disappointed

BBQ places are the exception, not the rule of choice for where I go for a great meal; WHY? To dad gone expensive! Come on now, why is BBQ so expensive? Here in North Country, it's an oddity, there aren't enough BBQ locations, and any you go to are costly for the quality of food. So that's where the above-average rating for Longhorn BBQ comes from; they give you a lot of food for the money. There's another BBQ place here in the Spokane area that will not be named, but those cats are expensive, their brisket just doesn't hit the mark, and the amount of food for the cost is too stingy. It's hard to do lousy BBQ sausage, so these are comparable, but if you want good BBQ brisket, Longhorn is the place, hands down. Still, I think the experience is pricey in the north and much more expensive than down in southern states, but competition abounds down south, so... I'd like to see more competition here in the Spokane area. Maybe someone will do a BBQ food truck or more instances of BBQ to make it more affordable and competitive. Longhorn for BBQ is a pretty good deal and my BBQ of choice.
Tasty but expensive. I got a full rack of ribs to share with my daughter, fries for the side, and salad bar. It was $44. And the rack of ribs had 6 ribs (most I have gotten have 10-12 ribs in a full rack). The ribs were great, fries nice and hot, salad bar was typical middle of the road salad bar. Probably wouldn’t spend that much again for 6 ribs.

I'm giving five stars because the staff really did their best and is usually pretty good service and food. We came on a very busy night and the salad bar wasn't fresh but ok. Everything else was great and they gave a discount for the wait, which wasn't expected at all, but appreciated. We'll definitely be back again soon. Thanks!!
