We were looking for a decent experience at Kinja. They have a nice selection of sushi and Korean dishes, and I have to admit, the sushi conveyor belt was enticing. We showed up and discovered the sign on their front letting people know they're using styrofoam take-out containers for their dishes. Should have walked away at that moment. Being someone that subscribes to pandemic precautions, I get it, but we are near the end of COVID and it's not asking too much for standard dishes, glasses, and cutlery. The place was also dark, dank, and worst of all, the conveyor belt was covered and not running. The food ordered was tasty, slightly overpriced for the value, but our sushi came after our entrees - like it was the desert. Too many other options in the area to consider this as an 'option'. You've been warned.
I had a major sushi craving and ordered delivery as their prices were very competitive compared to other Uber eats sushi places. I was pleasantly surprised to find them quick and delicious! I have never actually been in the restaurant but now I will make sure I stop by. Very pleased with the sushi here, quality and amount were fantastic! Delicious
I ordered $100 worth of sushi and it all tasted horribly, like mold, even the wasabi ? so disappointed and sad.
We did Uber eats today 2/22/2022 and know it travled a bit to get to our house. We spent roughly 70$ to get a feel of the restaurant. There were several things to note: first, the ramen was not traditional the ingredients were in the broth (pre mixed) the egg was cooked in the broth not hard boiled as it should be. Second, the "salad" was brown and we received enough for two bites of iceberg lettuce. Third the katsu Chicken was flavorless and was drowned in something that tasted like a very bland ketchup making it soggy. Fourth, the Miso was separated and tasted like mold. Fifth the ramen while eating it we found the tails were still on the shrimp and some other crustaceous bits that were not edible. Sixth, they actually had octopus in the seafood option for the ramen this was a win! Seventh, the heart attack stuffed jalapenos were okay just very soggy/falling apart. Eighth the sushi was okay as well pretty basic. Ninth, the items lol post stickers and tempura shrimp that came in the katsu bento box were good and not pictured as I ate them first. You do get a large scoop of white rice that for me was untouched due to the katsu Chicken not being what it should of been. Tenth, the sofshell crab tempora was great overall and my favorite item, and would recommend it! My husband's favorite despite what was pointed out above was the ramen, to me it was bland which he agrees with.
I've been here a few times and usually like the food. I ordered a sashimi combination on Uber eats that was $18.99 and supposed to come with miso soup. They gave me the tiniest pieces of fish (two snapper, three salmon, and two tuna... Not a good selection) and no miso soup. The rest of the order was okay, but I won't be ordering again.
Excellent food. Wish done in were available only because some of the menu items are really only meant for in person dining and the food I’ve had for take out has been stellar. I especially love the spicy tofu soup, it’s perfect for a rainy day.
Such nice people and excellent sushi, been here 5+ times and never a disappointing bite. Highly recommended, fast and convenient. We need more Sushi spots in Spokane area like this one.
I ordered kinja tonight cause I was craving yakisoba. I got beef and my husband got chicken. also a few appetizers (heart attack and gyoza). they gave me literally 10 drops of sauce for my pot stickers and when my husband and I opened our yakisoba containers we literally didn't see meat in our yakisoba after digging in we found 3 small pieces of meat. the flavor is there and is good just wished I wasn't charged for meat and then didn't get what we should have. see picture of sauce in comments.
12.99 for a caterpillar roll that was basically empty, there was so little eel meat inside I could barely see or taste it. Super disappointed, will not be ordering food here again.
Oh my goddess thus place has amazing food. And they have bento boxes. Go check them out show some love.
