Okay, I'll start with my complaint. They are always busy, and sometimes that can make the wait staff slow. However, that is a small small small complaint compared to the quality of food, kindness of the staff and environment. I think most of their meats taste better than outlaw BBQ or Dickey's. Their cost is fair in my opinion. I eat there at least once a month, I would highly recommend stopping by.
Stopped in for lunch today and there were 4 people in the bar area total..I ordered a double shot of whiskey which I received a single on the rocks...I ordered a second without ice... bartender basically put barely a long pour single in a double shot glass..I go out to bars quite often and my drink of choice is always a Double shot of whiskey...and for there being 4 people in the bar the service was extremely slow...I saw some poor woman's food sit under the heat lamps at the pass for almost 10 minutes before she received it...I also ordered the black n Blu salad which the flavor was awesome and the steak in it was cooked perfectly but for the price of it it extremely small...I've been to multiple places lately for salads and usually end up taking some home because they are so big...I ate this whole salad and was still pretty darn hungry...the only reason for 2 starts is the flavor of the food... I tried this place years ago and was disappointed...I figured I would give them another try today and now I will not return again...poor service and small portions...save your money
We went in for a lunch and enjoyed appetizers and beers. Fun waitress and prompt service. We ordered smoked brisket and wings for our appetizers. Both were extremely delicious.Great restaurant with a fun atmosphere and very friendly staff
Excellent little bbq joint hidden in the corner of Indian trail. Discovered at the start of COVID-19 and keep going back! (Get the Texas Mac and cheese, it will change your life)
The food is generally good and the prices fair. Rated over time, and in particularly based on recent visits however - an establishment only worth visiting if you have exceptional patience and oodles of free time. My first 2 visits were mostly on point good experiences. The last 3 times I've been there, though, the servers have been incredibly inattentive. Like get your food and drink then not see them again until they drop off the bill. This last visit - which will be our last - after we ordered, we were both finished with our meals before the server even checked on us - and we were eating slow. Being thirsty, i asked for a refill which she brought out with the bill. Then we waited - nearly 15 minutes - for her to pickup the card and bill (which she never did). We ended up taking the bill to the bar to pay. Once could be chalked up to an aberration. 3 times in a row is a symptom of a sickness. We will not be returning.
10/10. best restaurant in existence. ever since i’ve taken a juicy bite out of a jj’s burger i’ve lost 10 pounds, gained the ability to fly, walk on water and move various metal objects with my mind.
When we walked in, it appeared busy and seated ourselves. Despite some of the other reviews, our server greeted us right away and was super friendly.Loved the atmosphere of the place, with the sports bar look and lots of tvs to view your favorites.We started with some beer. Great selection. Had the Hop Valley Kraken IPA, very delicious.. and $5 a pint?? A special I didn't expect.I had the baby back ribs. The dry rub on the ribs and with the sauces made them pretty good, but I've had better, and a bit on the dry side, so they were OK. (hence 4 stars)My wife had her go-to, the pulled pork sandwich. It looked delicious and she said it was good.It is a fun place. I'd go back again, just to try something a bit different.
Stopped in on a Saturday for the burger special that was advertised. Nothing on the walls or online indicates any conditions. Bill comes, no special on our burger. ? So we inquire and are told it’s only on the “burger special.” Why isn’t that indicated I ask…no answer. The “special” isn’t even advertised consistent in house. Get it together
My husband and I had a great lunch here! Would come back next time we're in the area!
it's good food . service is dreadful . bare minimum. felt like I was at McDonald's . server didn't even care we were there. 80$ ticket 2$ tip if they did there job would have been 15-20$ tip.
