We ate at Italian kitchen on a Tuesday night before going to the theatre, and we loved it! The service and the food were both excellent. I had the spaghetti and sausage carbonara, and my companion had the seafood fettuccine. Both were fabulous. The portions were large, so we ended up taking half of our food home. Be aware that the prices are a bit on the high side; if that's a concern you can check out the menu on their website before visiting.
Incredible Italian Cuisine! Awesome steaks ?, fabulous Pasta! Great Staff! Locally Owned and Operated for over 17 years. Great Atmosphere! If you are in the mood for great Italian food and not just Olive Garden, but actual food made fresh on site! Not microwaved factory food, then is the place for you! Just remember good fresh food takes a little longer than microwaved factory ? food, and your taste buds will thank you!
We kind of found this place by accident. We were walking down the street looking for a different restaurant when we saw this one, and decided to go inside.First of all the atmosphere is great. It has a very intimate feel and it was quite charming. We were greeted immediately, which in this day is kind of nice, and our waitress came to the table almost immediately to take our drink order. We perused the menu and decided upon appetizers and entrees.We had a house side salad and a Caesar salad to start and an antipasta platter. Both were excellent. The salads were dressed right and looked beautiful. The antipasta plate was gorgeous and included prosciutto mozzarella goat cheese blue cheese kalamata olives artichoke hearts and pepperoncinis as well as toasted baguettes. As you can see by the photos they looked beautiful and tasted great.We kept our entree simple. My wife had the spaghetti with meatballs and I had linguine pasta with sausage all in a pomodoro. The meatballs were amazing, and the Italian sausage was cooked very crispy on the outside and very juicy and succulent on the inside. The sauce was delicious as it wasn't overpowering and the pasta itself was cooked al dente.Overall this was a very nice experience. We topped off our meal with a white chocolate cheesecake with a key lime base and a raspberry coulis. It was the perfect ending to this meal.If you find yourself in Spokane, or if you live there, you should treat yourself to this once in awhile. If you like authentic Italian cuisine, it's the right place.Four and a half stars not five because I have yet to find at a true five star establishment, but I have to admit, this place is pretty close. ??Happy dining!
Loved then decor and music here. Hot buttered rum was great. Spaghetti carbonara was delicious and a good serving size. The waitress was spot on, very nice and professional. Makes a person want to go visit Italy again.
My husband and I have been here to eat. We came across it while walking around, deciding what to have for dinner. We weren't rushed out the door, and the service was amazing!! Made for a perfect date night.
First time eating at Italian Kitchen tonight. I would highly recommend trying if you have never visited. Great food!! Friendly staff. ❤️
Great atmosphere and service and the food tastes very good but the portions are skimpy for what your paying for. The lasagna at 27$ is a 3x3 portion that was way too small. The gnocchi with sausage and peppers was mostly gnocchi and peppers with very few pieces of sausage. Very tasty but way too skimpy.

The appetizers, clams and calamari, were phenomenal. The entrees were above par but didn't quite match the quality of the appetizers. I had the Steak Gorgonzola, ordered medium rare, it came out a little on the medium side. We finished with 'The Godfather' (a mountain of chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream), unfortunately the cake was pretty dry.Overall a very quality meal and the Anterra Pinot Grigio was excellent. Service was beyond excellent.
