If you live in Spokane, you need to grab a microbrew or cider and some food here. My husband and I go here for awesome pretzels, sandwiches and brews. I just had the Bear Cider and it was so good even my husband liked it. It has the perfect balance of apple and sweetness. It's not too sweet and it's dry so you get just a hint of apple and sweetness. So good! Don't miss out. I highly recommend.
Well obviously deep pocketed investors because the renovation project looks great and in a rough area. Good IPA and Oatmeal stout.
Great relaxed atmosphere! We ordered the BBQ pork and charred pineapple pizza, the Ruben, and the Iron Goat hot chicken. The portion sizes were big. All of the food was delicious! Above average beer, but none of them stood out above the others. Clean bathrooms! Amazing service!
The staff is super friendly and helpful. My daughter and husband split a cheese pizza. The menu has a lot of choices with great looking flavors. I ordered the green goat bowl. It was delicious. Unfortunately, I crunched down on some small rocks and guess they may have been in the rice. The waitress was horrified and couldn’t do enough for me. They comped the salad and immediately made a new one. The new one was perfect. The vegetables were so fresh. The menu had a variety of choices for people with eating limitations/chosen styles (DF/V/VG). The Irish beer was tasty and I liked the strawberry pineapple cider.
Good beer, great space, and fantastic menu options if you want to have lunch while tasting some of their beer choices. Definitely worth a stop when you visit Spokane.
Great vibe, although it was slightly intimidating figuring out whether it was walk up service or table service. Yummy raspberry truffle shuffle stout ! Brought home leftovers too, always a bonus for my house !
The beers are great but the food is truly incredible. We had the turkey sandwich and are still talking about it weeks later! It was that good. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu!
My girlfriend got the Hawaiian chicken sandwich. It was on special. The soft pretzel was nice and chewy. Cheese sauce is pretty good as well.I ate the Chicago beef eater. It was grilled to perfection. The bread was a nice dark golden color not burnt. I don't think the chef could have done any better. Potato salad had a nice Smoky flavor.
Excellent beer, outstanding food. While the regular menu is great, particularly the pizzas (Get the Bahn Mi pizza, it's fantastic), don't ignore the chalkboard specials. They really pour a lot of effort into them. Every ingredient is thoughtfully added. Nothing doesn't belong and the sum is greater than the parts. Truly fantastic stuff!Their IPAs are always good, their sours are excellent, but their barrel-aged beers really shine. People should be standing in line to get their Barrel-Aged Goatnik Stout, its world-class.
Great pie, better beer, what else could you ask for? Staff is super friendly too. Parking can be a bit challenging, but worth a little walk. As I'm writing this, I want to go again!
