The Illinois has always had great food. However the problem I've always had is the service. Today was the worst. I went in simply wanting breakfast. we had to wait while the server simply ignored us while dealing with the tables around us. Finally took our order. It was simple drink, coffee and diet coke, and our food orders. She returned with the drinks and we waited. Our drinks arrived. The tables around us were bused. Checks were given and paid at tables around us. Tables around us were cleared and new customers arrived. We still had no food. They were simple orderes. Waffles and french toast. No one ever approached us regarding refills of our drinks or the status of our food. After almost an hour we gave up and left. I've always received slow service here but this was the worst.
Servers were very attentive even when busy seemed to care about their customers, i was pleased with the service that was provided as well as my chicken fried steak with hash brows scrambled eggs and english muffin. This place i do plan on going again!I was recommended this hot sauce by one of the tenders and i am doing the same to whomever reads this. lt went perfect with my gravy and hash browns has a zesty chili taste.Presentation wasn't the best and waitress forgot a could items but it was understandable 4/5 stars on this occasion
Well this sucked cause it was the woman and our first night out together in some time? She was hungry and decided on the Illinois and yes gentlemen she actually decided on a place to go!(still in shock) so we go in sit down and the gal took our order for drinks but her whole attitude changed as soon as we let her know we wanted to order food! She brought us menus and didn't see her again for almost an hour! The food was the only good thing! So unless you are a local to the Illinois I don't recommend this bar! The Place Place is way more new person friendly and the Food is better!
Went here on Saturday morning for our first visit around 800am. At first it was calm and enjoyable by the time we left at 930am the place was 3/4 full and everyone was in full "party" mode. It was very lively and the staff were welcoming, kind and invited us back for 2forTuesday! Great experience. The prices were in line for this area. We will definitely go back.
Food , DRINKS,services,loyalty, wicked. Cool pool skins great atmospheres, not that bad of neighborhood, close gas pumps, old school roads, very popular views . They change during the seasons, "local to just about a quarter of Spokane" as well as a lot of historical places , such as AVISTA, and donut parade. Just needs to sweep up a bit and they will be starred correctly
If you want drinks, to order food and (or) gamble? Better have more than a hour for one of the above..... 2 or 3 waitstaff and kitchen cook should be able to handle 15 to 20 people.Food is good if you get to order.Dont seem to care what you want if you're not a regular.

People are friendly and the environment is cool . I don't drink was picking up some friends . But it's a cool spot
Our favorite go to for dinner! Husband loves the burgers and my favorite is the taco salad. The 2 for 1 specials are always a great option on Tuesdays. Another fav is the French dip with fries!!
I've been a customer there for years. Service is always slow and understaffed. Today was beyond that. Savannah, our server, needs to find a new line of work! In addition, Heather, whom I've always adored, was absent. I am a frequent patron of bars and restaurants. Any manager witnessing our experience there today would have replaced them both!
