I love this little hole in the wall place. Its location is not the greatest but do not let that discourage you. The food they have is absolutely wonderful. It is one of the closest things I have had in terms of real Chinese food in Spokane! They give you so much servings enough to last three to four meals! For the price you pay about 5 dollars per meal and it is all tasty! The owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. They welcome all guests. Do check them out!
My caregiver ordered her lunch from here upon recommendation from friends. We were shocked at the large portions that came. According to what her meal portions are, she figured she got 3 meals. I was guessing she'd get 4 from it. She loved the food & the price she paid for the amount of food that came. She will be another "Regular" for the Happiness Chinese & I am looking forward to trying it after I get paid next month too.
Waited forever for food that had been pre-ordered. Rude staff, very little updates on the wait, and very impersonal. The worst part, is every time someone went into the kitchen to check on or retrieve an order you could here how extremely sticky the kitchen floors are. Considering it's closed for in door dining the place was still disgusting and dirty inside. Won't order or eat anything from here.
Not sure how to rate. I've heard a lot about this place, how good it is etc. Only thing I didn't hear about was the fact it was Take Out only. So sadly I didn't try it. I can eat at home any time.
Great Chinese Food. No dine in and the price has rised too much. Sesame chicken is $20. It should be $15 tops
Best egg foo young I’ve had in Spokane. Huge portions. All the kids ate which, if you are a parent, is hard to find a place everyone likes. Will definitely come back.
Best Chinese around. Huge portions, we can eat 3 meals from 4 dishes we ordered. So worth the drive. Picture is what was left over after 3 adults and 2nd helpings and 1 child single portion. We will definitely be back many times!!They also gave us free appetizer sampler and it was bomb!!!
New to Spokane and looking for a good Chinese restaurant. This was my fourth try...almost gave up. Glad I didn't!The portions are large and very tasty.The photo is Szechuan Beef, and Szechuan Chicken. Both minus two helpings. It came with a pint of white rice as well as two cookies and soy sauce.I have experience Happiness at last.
I completely understand being understaffed. Where I work is also understaffed. The only gal working the front said they only have 2 cooks and should have 7. I can't imagine how over worked they all are! That being said, if you're that short staffed, give longer estimates for when food will be ready. We also had errors with our order, including missing items. General Tso's chicken was fantastic and the best part of our dinner. Highly recommend General Tso's!
We have ordered several times from Happiness. Having a large family with growing teenagers to feed their “Family Style Dinners” (2,3,4) can’t be beat!! The portions are huge? Yes Wonderfully priced? Yes Freshly made? Yes High quality and flavor? Yes….they check off all the boxes for American Chinese cuisine that certainly leaves you with a happy tummy. Thank you Happiness for all you do!
