One of the tastiest salsa bars in the area with unlimited chips if you order a burrito.Get the adobada chimichanga. Squeeze two limes into some hot sauce. Use them on the burrito. You will not regret this decision.
Super duper 5 star....flavor..crisp..sauces...all on point.. I've had the top rated Mexican food places in Spokane..today this placed top it to #1.... Like no joke..beans had a hint of smokey steak flavor set it over the top for me...rice perfectly done...my son also rates this place #1 .. have a favorite always is a bean rice n cheese...he said this was the best place he's tasted. So thnx staff for a great experience on this day... 3:28pm April 2nd.....
Good price, small portions. Lunch...1st visit.. May go back for another, not overly impressed. The salsa was very hot.The interior and dining area was pretty run down. Friendly staff.
I have always loved this restaurant and I always will. Having had Mexican food in many different states, and now returning and trying Gerardo's again, it's the best I've ever had. This visit I had phenomenal Adobada. Also highly recommend the chimichangas. Everything is just on point. Highly recommend
I found the service delightful. I wish they had some pictures on their menu.I found the food delicious, but after 40 years of Tex-Mex and New-Mex, not what I was used to. The Super Nachos were meat-rich and delicious. The Fajita Mix on the other hand was just a bit disappointing. It had lots of meat, as promised, but was all beef despite a promise of beef, chicken and shrimp. It also was very short on things like bell pepper and onion which I consider essential. (Again, 40 years in Texas.) Also, I always thought the meat should be cooked then sliced and hit with a bit of lime juice, rather than sliced and then seared, although that is the form you usually find in the butcher's case. The Mexican Rice was delicious, but again, lacked bell pepper. The beans had a good flavor, and mixed with cheese, but seemed to be run through a blender rather than mashed. The cups of salsa included with the meal (both red and green) were delicious. For this far from the border, they do pretty darn good.
Not sure what has taken me so long to try this place (other than the fact it’s not convenient from the Valley). I love that the burritos are not filled with mostly rice and beans (like another popular drive through Mexican restaurant). Their refried beans are a little different than what I have had. Do they cook them in bacon grease? I don’t know! What I do know is this place deserves more visits! Prices are reasonable, portion sizes are large, and when you order a meat in your burrito…you get the meat and not rice wrapped in a tortilla!
Very very very great friendly customer service! Food is fantast
The food is good quality, especially for the price. Reminds me of the many " mom and pop" shops I knew down in So. Cal. I love the fireplace heater. If I had anything to pick out as a "negative" it would be not having a menu online with descriptions of the menu items. [ not much of a negative,] just an idea after working restaurants for 5 years and retail for 30. Definitely on my list of places to return to.
I’m never one to complain but not to happy with my tacos…. Was told great food and honestly No Bueno meat wasn’t good cold and soggy tacos not to happy. Was packed properly just wasn’t happy with quality quantity was great….
This has become my favorite place in town for a steak and bacon and egg breakfast burrito. They are always supernice and relatively fast with the order. Is everything also seems fresh. What definitely recommend.
