great experience. it is not like anything else I have done

The dinner I had at Gander and Ryregrass was so good that I returned for lunch. Unfortunately, the menu changes pretty regularly and, as a result, isn't online or on Facebook. For dinner: But the food is excellent and those who are foodies will appreciate the multiple courses with the wine pairing option. Best of all, portion size is reasonable without being too much. It's about the food, not being bloated after an appetizer. For lunch: The menu is a little more limited and very meat heavy. I was disappointed the fish or vegetarian options at dinner weren't available for lunch. Service was excellent, both at lunch and dinner. The wine list is one of the best in Spokane. Best of all, there are some excellent wines by-the-glass. Prices aren't cheap. With a couple glasses of wine, tip, and tax, you're looking at over $175-$250 per person. But it's more than worth it.

Oh, dear lord, this was our first place for dinner during our visit, and did it ever set a very high standard! Your choice of meal is either the six-course chef's tasting menu or a three course meal that offers two options per course. My husband and I had one of each - I can't remember exactly what we had (waited too long to write this review) but everything was absolutely delicious, from drinks to dessert. Staff bent over backwards to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Absolutely highly recommended - book early!

Gander and Ryegrass is always delightful. Artistically presented, amazing flavor combinations in every dish. Amuse bouches are a special touch!

Pairings with Whistle Punk beers were excellent, food was phenomenal. Friendly and informed servers and relaxing ambience. Great place for a special occasion or anyone wanting to try fine dining for the first time (like me!)

Great food. Great service. A wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion.

Gander & Ryegrass was a tasteful and comfortable experience. Service was polite and efficient, and the ambiance was cozy and high class. The food itself was masterfully made, and I thoroughly enjoyed every course. Their selection of cocktails and wine is impressive, and the sommelier's knowledge of them moreso. I will be returning for more.

Delicious set menu, extraordinarily good wine pairings, knowledgeable and opinionated (in the best possible way) staff. I think of Gander and Ryegrass as visiting New York in Spokane, because even though it's a newer restaurant it holds itself to a high standard that I associate with old school fine dining in a much larger market. Well done.

This was our first visit to this restaurant -- we are from out of town and ate in several Spokane restaurants during our stay. Gander & Ryegrass was by far the best place we visited. The food was very good, we paired it with some interesting wines, and the service was great as well. We did not feel rushed, which is important to us when dining out. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and would go back on our next Spokane visit.

Not what I was expecting. Very limited menu and portions. Far fancier than it appears and very expensive. Over $500 for four of us with only one drink each and a dessert.
