Really liked the food, service, and atmosphere. Nicely restored train car provides the setting, my omelet, potatoes, and gluten-free toast were all well above average. My husband's meatloaf was also very good. Portions are very sufficient without being overboard. Found this location on TripAdvisor, and a local who went with us was surprised by how much he liked it.
I’ve been for both lunch and breakfast. Really cool location in a train car. Food is nothing short of delicious. Burgers are awesome and I highly recommend the creole seafood omelette.
Heard about this place for its breakfast. Tried the wild boar bacon and eggs. Was so good went back a second time. The food and service was great.
Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning. Super friendly service. We had to wait about 30 minutes to be suited. Good diner food. Biscuits were especially good
What a wonderful dining experience in a unique setting!! Sitting at the lunch counter is something I haven’t done since I was a kid. Our food was great!!! The 2 Leslie’s were so helpful and kind (our server and cook). I had the salmon BLT with avocado, yum!! The fries are the coated fries and apparently are coated with rice flour so they are gluten free except that they fry them in a common oil with other products. My sister had the Florentine omelet, she liked it. I’d suggest you should try to go during off-typical dining hours since seating is limited
This place is a lot of fun...and amazing food. The staff was very busy...but awesome to all the guests! We sat at the counter...which I highly recommend. We live out of state...but if we are back in Spokane, Washington we will definitely stop at Frank's Diner. There are two locations in Spokane and we ate at both...and we enjoyed both locations. We sat at the counter at the downtown location and that was the most entertaining...however the booth at the other location was relaxing. If I had to choose...I'd say the downtown location at the counter is definitely worth trying first!
This place is probably the Best Breakfast I had ever had!! Not to mention eating there is an experience in itself! The dining cart is very little but they make up for it with a super sweet waitress, the most amazing, flavorful, and melt in your mouth food you have ever had!! Even the toast was amazing, I think it was homemade sourdough. It was light and fluffy and came with homemade jam. I normally don't eat the toast that comes with breakfast, but I couldn't help myself! The grilled onions on the hash browns are a must, it adds great flavor! The chicken fried steak and the works omelet were amazing! I highly recommend and we will definitely be back everytime we are in town!!
This train car is a beautiful antique. From the intricate wood interior to vintage stained glass and the Northern Pacific Railroad memorabilia, this restaurant has some deep roots on and off the track. The staff are great. Very welcoming. The food is on point. Delicious and fast. One of the best diner experiences in all of Unted States!!!
A diner actually inside a real rail car. Rich with history and great breakfast food! Waitresses are extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating. Very moderate, fair prices and free parking.
What a fun find. Great breakfast in a train dining car. Service was outstanding and the food is awesome. Egg cooked perfectly and the hash browns are amazing. A definite must!
