I love Five Guys burgers. However, the last three times I've been to the North Spokane Newport HWY location, they have seriously messed up the order by not including items ordered and not putting what was requested on the Hamburger. Literally, dumping so much seasoning and salt on the fries to the point we could not eat them. Also, did not include extras that were paid for, such as an extra patty on the side. When I called to complain to the manager, he was a complete jerk—not saying anything at all. I did not want free food; I just wanted them to fix the issues. However, this location and some of the employees clearly do not care at all. I would highly suggest going somewhere else, less aggravating.
I have always enjoyed 5 Guys hamburgers, but what stood out were the fresh roasted Idaho peanuts! I always take a couple boats home after the meal. : )Tonight was special... A fellow who said he was the Manager, and said his name was Doug - you will know him, he is about 6' 5" and is dressed sloppily, and his exposed ankles are dirty - came to my table and loudly told me in front of other guests that I was NOT taking any peanuts with me. I thought he was joking... I stopped by the counter on my way out and this gigantic fellow loomed over me and shouted at me about some sign that said I might develop a peanut allergy, so I couldn't take the peanuts. I asked about his manager and he denied having one, I told him I didn't believe him, then he said his boss' name is Ray... he kept getting angrier and more worked up even as people stood in line waiting to order - for some reason, he called someone on the phone to punish me! I noticed the person he called was Avery NOT Ray... so I don't believe much of what he said.Simply put, if you want to be called out by "Doug" for eating too many peanuts go ahead and go to this restaurant, where you will pay $20 for a soggy hamburger delivered 20 minutes later. Bonus! You will get an awesome amount of delicious French Fries! : )
Couple years ago fries used to have some crunch and crisp to them....now absolutely nasty....soggy....squished some with paper towels.....towels soaked with oil!!!! Ridiculous for the price you pay for fries!!!!! Burgers have gone down hill also... so wet and sloppy..tried to contain it in wrapper that was around burger but no can do!!!!! Burger sosoaked it fell all over place trying to eat it!!!!
Not really thrilled with the meat they use on their burgers.Their fries are good. $6 for a large.
Always quality fast food. Only wish it had a drive thru window, then I'd give it 5 stars!
Great burgers the way you like them. Tip though: if you order online while in line, you might see people after you order, eat and leave before you get your food. Good thing they have free peanuts and great burgers.
This is one of the most bodacious burger places in Spokane. Their food is always freshly made, the shakes are super thick and done on the spot. 5 out of 5. Definitely Recommend.
My kids and I weren’t feeling well. I tried to make diner and burned everything. I had promised them milk shakes and a hamburger To make up.We came in the store but had a problem with an order. I spoke to Manager Avery the next day who handled the problem with class and style. Five Guys needs to keep this man happy and well paid. You won’t find another like him.
Five Guys is always delicious and this location is no exception. They are pretty fast. but like any place, mistakes can be made. So far, we've only had one error in our order and only had to wait once when they were super busy. That said, we continue to eat here and recommend it.
Great burgers and fries. I'd give 5 stars if they only gave an option to upgrade from American cheese.
