First impressions made me skeptical about this place. The fancy-shamcy decor was nice, a little too nice, like pretentious nice if you catch my drift. The walls and mirrors reminds me of decor you would find in teenage girl bedroom aisle at Hobby Lobby. The basemant was a far better atmosphere, more of a classy speakeasy feel than anything else but dang it's like they couldn't figure what theme they wanted for the first floor bar.Service was not bad, but one things that made me skeptical was the way we were served warm water from one of those trendy glass bottles you'd see from The Pirates of the Caribbean. A trend I'm seeing more and more in restaurants where I for one see as a red flag for places like this. When our food arrived, my mood abruptly changed, the burger was like a literal chef's kiss. Quite possibly one of the best burgers I've had in Spokane, I have probably said before but this time I REALLY mean it. The burger felt like a pillow when I bit into. The cheese just becomes one with your taste buds. I could go on but I'm not going to.Other entrées we had was the Mac and Cheese which had waaaay too many caramelized onions in my opinion. Then we had the BBQ Cola Wings. That's right, BBQ COLA flavored wings and believe me, you can taste the cola. I wouldnt recommend if you not avid soda drinker like I am. I would come back but ONLY for that cheeseburger. Hot dang, that cheeseburger is going to be in my dreams for the next few days.

Durkin's was one of my favorite Spokane restaurants until last night. The menu was different as was the staff. I understand they have a new Head Chef. I didn’t see anything on the new menu that appealed to me. I elected the pork chop which I could have cooked at home. Our waiter was not as friendly or effective as the previous wait staff. He spent time talking to someone at the bar. Apparently, he or the kitchen missed one of our orders as one diner at the table was not served and had to wait 15 minutes for their dinner to arrive. Two individuals order the duck with cheese spaetzle. One of whom was German. Both complained the duck was tasteless and the spaetzle arrived cold and there was not cheese in it. The German in our group has made cheese spaetzle for me and I think he knew what he was talking about. I had a very thick, if not dry, porkchop. It had a fruity sweet sauce that didn’t help the dryness of the pork or my enjoyment of my dinner. The only happy person at the table had fish and chips and I suspect came from the freezer. Let’s bring back the old chef, staff, and menu

Great atmosphere, seating, and menu. The Brussels sprouts were sweet and made perfectly, and the single burger and Fries was one of the best I’ve had. The burger tasted like it had steak seasoning on it, with a creamy cheese that complimented the flavor well. My friend had the Cioppino and loved it as well! Would definitely come here again!

When we entered we just wanted drinks. We were directed to the back and down stairs. We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and atmosphere. We stepped back in time to leather sofas, cocktail tables, dim lighting, patterned wallpaper, and delicious drinks with unique recipes. The drinks were complex but not fussy. I can't wait to return!

Great food and Great service.

My favorite restaurant of all! Their burger and fried bologna sandwiches are just to die for! Love their selection of spirits, mixed drinks and beer. Very friendly and attentive staff! Plus their downstairs bar area is just a great place to hang.

The hostess was unkempt and was very confused about our reservation. Could not find us even though we had confirmed our reservation previously. It took 10 minutes for her to run around and come back and tell us there were no tables available. We were seated but the service was terrible and the food was worse.. We waited at least 30 minutes before the waitress even noticed we were there. I have nothing good to say about this restaurant and we will bet return.

Nom nom! I’ve always heard so much about this place and finally went and it was amazing! Super cute atmosphere, kinda like a New York feel, and great food! Burger and fries were honestly perfect. Good drinks, friendly staff. (They will ask you to wear a mask fyi) ???

If you haven't here before, you're depriving yourself of an excellent experience and you should be ashamed of yourself. Service is great, vibe is thriving but calm, chefs are very talented, and the FREAKING BURGER ARE YOU KIDDING ME. It is one of the most enjoyable flavor profiles of any burger I've had ever. It is perfectly balanced, just messy enough, and you'll want to to be the last thing you taste before you leave. Get in here and try that thing.

We were taken care of like family! I love this place! The amazingly thing is that it was better than family because they don't read into your compliment as backhanded.....
