A well-worn tiny building located in the heart of a somewhat distressed residential neighborhood with parking on street, only, and no indoor or outdoor seating. They make their own ice cream; it's good, and at a premium price. If you're a pistachio nut, definitely try theirs--it's special.
I haven't been here since I was a munchkin. Yes warms my heart to see this place is still around. I grew up right down the road and used to stop by here every day after school to get a .50 cent mini scoop. It's Still the best ice cream I've ever had.
The most old school business in Spokane, making delicious ice cream for almost 90 years! A warning though--the black licorice ice cream is heavenly but it will stain your lips and teeth black for a few hours!
