This is an amazing restaurant. They serve popcorn at the table as a snack. The sandwiches are amazingly good, delicious and large with lots of meat. Whole was too much for me and thats unusual.Atmosphere is fun and the staff is very friendly. This is a great local business.
17 bucks and some change for a whole sandwich, easily enough to feed two adults or several kids. Sandwich was pretty good, but (to me) felt somewhat uninspired. Although, their minimalist/purist approach to sandwiches seems to be doing the trick for a lot of folks. I recommend them alone on the friendliness of the staff and tasty popcorn.
Literally the best sandwich in the world. Been going here for like 20 years. The popcorn with the sandwich works so well. They are huge, the bread is fantastic (get there early for sourdough) and the meats are so good. If you love veggies on your sandwich it might be a bit of a shock since it's just meat and cheese and condiments, but it's very very worth giving it a try.Love to grab a sandwich and head to manito to eat it.
This may look like just any other turkey with cream cheese sandwich on sourdough, but it’s so much tastier than your normal sandwich! The turkey tasted so fresh and delicious, and the sourdough bread was thick and perfect. When I walked into the building, I could instantly smell the freshly popped popcorn. They even include popcorn with your sandwich! I ordered the Tiny size, I’m so glad because I was stuffed after. It is about 5oz of meat. The Small is about 10oz of meat. I will most definitely be back!!
Bread, cheese, meat. That’s it. It’s a classic style sandwich, in a cool facility, but it’s not worth $12.The people who enjoy this place are people who enjoy the atmosphere and the general vibe of an old-fashioned style sandwich shop in a trendy downtown. I’ve been all over the USA and tried sandwiches from NYC, Chicago, Seattle, LA, etc and this is something you could make at home with ingredients from a grocery store and a bag of microwaved popcorn.I wouldn’t leave such a rough review if it wasn’t for the owners being so arrogant and conceited. They act like they have some secret recipe or like the fact they have been in business for so long is a testament to how incredible their food and service is ~ you run a trendy overpriced sandwich shop in a hipster town that has no understanding of good food (Spokane is severely lacking in the food scene). The least you can do is be friendly, and they were rude to me when I visited. See their attitude for yourself - check out how they reply to this and other negative reviews with personal attacks, insults to the reviewer, and outright denial of the customer experience. Completely unprofessional! At Domini Sandwiches, the customer is *not* always right.Spokanites have very low standards when it comes to good food, though, so it’s no surprise they are in business still. If it’s trendy and downtown, you could serve popcorn and people would pay money to eat it. Oh wait…
Ok, so over the years of talking to our Spokane friends we heard that Domini's had the best sandwiches in town. This trip we decided to check them out and guess what, our friends were right. DELICIOUS!!!! Such a simple ( they don't have veggies ) sandwich. Cut, sliced and put together upon each order. So good!!! We went two times during our visit. Sooooo gooood!! And the popcorn that is included is perfecto!! Thanks Domini's!!!!!
How to eat Domini's sandwiches:1) Take your first bite, which will immediately push all the meat and cheese out of the bread.2) Spend the rest of your meal frantically trying to regain control.3) Start planning your next trip to Domini's because it was so damn good.
What’s not to appreciate in todays day and age?-daily locally baked bread.-hand sliced meats to oder-friendly staff and local owners-exceptional value for dollar (order a whole and take half away for lunch tomorrow!)-a great tasty sandwichI appreciate eating here and have for about 10 years. Eating lunch here is one aspect I look forward to when working downtown Spokane.
By far the best sandwich restaurant there is, anywhere! You will not be disappointed and you will not leave hungry. The owner and staff are so friendly relaxed. I so look forward to eating there when I get to Spokane. I highly recommend you eat there.
We got two sandwiches from them and they seemed in a big hurry when they made them, in fact it only took two or three minutes to make them and they were OK the first day but after putting my one half in my refrigerator after carefully wrapping it up and then I was going to eat the other half that next day watching the Seahawks game but it was nasty the roast beef was even harder and more dried out than the day before! Very Very disappointed
