JoJo was a fantastic, sweet, and attentive server, and the food was pretty good considering I went in around 4:30 in the morning!Got the Classic Patty Melt sandwich, with ranch and Diner Q sauce on the side, the sauce was good, a little more tangy or vinegar-y than regular fry sauce which I enjoyed.Much love to the staff! JoJo like I said was an absolute sweetheart ? and the food came out fast, props to the cook!
Denny's is a good place to eat. I enjoyed my most recent meal there. There were some issues with menu item availability. Denny's has been a part of Spokane for a long time. They have always provided good service.
I used to love Dennys, but this experience has sealed the deal on that lol.... we haven't been there in awhile so decided to treat my daughter to a meal. We weren't greeted well at all, didn't even know the waiter was talking to us. He just grabbed 2 menus and silverware and walked over to a table. After placing our order, the first item we received, a sample platter, was completely wrong. It took a few minutes to get his attention and then he could hardly take a moment to see what was wrong with our order and was going to just get onion rings but I told him the whole thing was wrong. He just whisked off and we looked at the food and realized it was just not the quality we were used to (not to mention it looked cold) and decided to leave. I spoke to the manager who really looked like he could care less and walked out. Won't ever go again and wouldn't recommend.
my husband my eldest son, my 4 year old grandbaby and myself went to this Denny's. They were super busy. So there was a guy waiter standing around. Since our waitress was busy. My husband shook the ketchup and asked if he could please grab one. He rolled his eyes and said nope! My husband was like that was rude to roll your eyes, the waitress is busy and it's a simple request. You are not busy. He came up to the back of the booth and said ain't my fuc****. Problem ain't my table. We're busy. Even though he just asked the manager to go on break because he had one table. An they just had 17 people come in for one waitress to go hustle to. Well need less to say m husband and son said there was no reason to speak like that. We just asked and your being rude! Wow. Then he proceeded to keep at it with my husband and son. My son said you need to back down. The waiter was upsetting my grandbaby and my son knew it. I'm so glad both my son's and both grandbabies were not there. Upset one is bad enough that she shut down emotionally and stopped eating! I can't believe you allow workers to be this rude! I don't care if it's busy! We went to Applebee's and had numerous waitress and waiter people as well as the manager busting tables and helping out where needed! Guess we'll have our company meetings and our lunches and dinners else where! No need for anything. This is the second time we have had rude service or cold food!
I gave 3 stars because I've had better experiences in the past.Today however, the only staff that had great customer service skills (that I encountered) was a kind soul named Christopher. He acknowledged customers and actually spoke to them. My waiter was the complete opposite. I was disappointed to see a few of the cooks with no masks on. There was a waitress who was getting the to go orders ready who drank a beverage above people's orders that she was bagging up. She wiped her nose with her hand and did not wash them afterward. If this would have happened prior to us getting our food,I would have left.What's the point of wearing a mask if it isn't going to go above your nose also? You might as well not wear one all together. If they were to get randomly audited they would quickly fail and get fined.
Had a great piece of cheesecake and decaf coffee and played cards with my some of my best friends and the service was great and I just really couldn't have had a better diner time than that at that time of night on a Sunday evening. If you like diner coffee as I do and just want to hang out and play some cards, this was a fun place to do that despite the cliche comments about a place like Dennys, it still reminds me of my grandfather and I guess that's what really makes the difference in the end, but we had fun anyway. Thank you for the great service too.
Was super busy so service was a bit slow. That said it was really good service. Food was better than expected by far. Dennys seems to have upped its game since I was here last. Oh... this was breakfast. Can't speak to dinner.
Waiter was polite and on top of things. He took good care of us. Restaurant was clean. Food was okay. It didn't look as good as the picture on the menu, but that is on the cook.
The food was great. Even though they might have been short handed great service.
This is the most unprofessional experience I've ever had this management team really sucks the big one. We ordered food from there website and never received it. There was no explanation at all. We called to talk but were told it's our problem. Work is hard and stressful but take responsibility for mistakes made. I was a paying customer that never received goods purchased. There's a word for that and it's theft. Your thieves!
